Wolfgang who had a quill in hand and was writing on the back of a napkin started running toward the office.

Running at an equally fast pace, both composers made into the room at almost the exact same moment, one barely getting through the door before the other followed after.
In no time flat, Beethoven had grabbed paper, quill and ink and was furiously writing.

"You know" Mozart said with a giggle as he started on a new paper "at this pace we could have this opera done by Sunday!"

Beethoven paused very briefly to do a mental calculation.
He chuckled.
"You're absolutely right. We'd have hammered out an entire rough draft in a matter of only a few days."
He winked.
"They'll call us mad. And if they do, then we know we have a success on our hands."
