Wolfgang decided he'd rather lock himself inside of his bedroom with the houses supply of booze than deal with Vienna any longer.
So that's what he did.
He worked on his opera, drank, passed out and did it again the next day.
It was morning and the sun was shining through his curtains, right on to his face waking him up "Damned daystar."

*Into that hush that always came in the mornings, there drifted the strains of a slow, rather pensive-sounding piece of music from the living room piano. It was something new, something that Ludwig had been working on at almost the same time Mozart had been busy with his own works.
The music wove through the rooms of the townhouse, turning from pensive to decided*

Wolfgang's ears twitched at the sound of the music drifting through the air, he unconsciously stood up and unlocked his door.
When he finally managed to make it to the living room he found himself ear to piano with Ludwig.
"Mornin."

*Beethoven paused in his playing, the look he gave Mozart rather agreeable*
"And to you. I see we've both been hard at work."

Wolfgang managed to trip over his own feet on the way to Beethoven "Only I've been in a drunken stupor for three days and you sit cold as a statue sweetheart."

*Beethoven quirked a brow at 'sweetheart', then leaned across the piano and tapped a half-full glass*
"I wouldn't say that...dear."

"You've been around me far too long" he laughed and plopped down next to Ludwig and began tapping the keys on the piano with one hand and holding himself up with the other.

*He scoffed*
"Pshaw. I've always had a fondness for wine...especially from the region where I grew up..."
*He started tapping out a counter-rhythm that somehow managed to share a beat with Mozart's at every fourth note*

Wolfgang pointed to his bottle that I never said he had "Wine is healthy, three days of rum my friend" he grinned "is beautiful."

*He lightly kicked Mozart in the ankle*
"And what a complexion it gives you!"

"Hey I kind of enjoy my pale skin and my gaunt eyes" he returned the kick.

*Kick*
"I suppose it does lend itself well to haunting houses..."

Wolfgang played faster, tempting Ludwig to keep up, as well as returning the kick.

*He gave Mozart an "ORLY?" look, before playing much more intensely and adding several embelleshments to the original melody*

Wolfgang laughed "You sure do like those low notes" ignoring the fact, that Ludwig just happened to be on that side of the piano "your music is always so daaark and brooding."
