Because wolves can't write.
Day One: Spend the day trying to get out of whatever that building was. Where the hell am I, where's my pack, and where's Cheza?
Met a human in that place below the building. He smelled partially dead. I'm avoiding him.
Damn humans.
- Day Two: There's another wolf here. Don't know where--heard him howling after I did.
Getting hungry.
- Days Three to Five: Finally got out, and managed to get to a forest before I got too worn-out. I'm in another building now, and apparently two dog pups live here. I had to bring one of them back inside after he got out. Who knows where the other pup is?
Whoever lives here is practically screaming, "Come in through the front door and kill my defenseless pups! While you're at it, invade our home through the aforementioned front door and claim it as your own while I'm not here to defend it!"
I might as well take care of the pups myself. I can't let them grow up ignorant just because humans don't know how to raise them properly.

Day... Six, I think:
How does someone smell like a human AND a wolf? Seriously. That wolf I heard? I met him.
At least he recognized me as an alpha, so he's not insane even if he IS some freak hybrid. Are all the wolves here like that, or am I just in that hallucination-bush again?
If that's the case, I'm waking up right now.
...I said, I'm waking up NOW! Tsume, you bastard, drag me out of the bush again if it's the last thing you do!

Day Six, later on:
Okay, so it turns out the alpha female was only gone because of some human business she needed to take care of. It still doesn't explain why the pups were wandering around with nobody to take care of them.
She's actually pretty normal, compared to the hybrid (he calls himself a werewolf) and the living corpse. I'm her beta now, and as much as that irritates me, she won't back down and I have to respect that.
I also met another human--Helen of Troy--and she's running away from her mate. She asked me to protect her; how hard can it be to fight off a smothering human male and his soldiers? I almost killed Darcia on my own, and he turned into a freak-wolf. Unless humans here can do that, I don't think he's a big problem.
She wears a lot of light colors, like Cheza did.

Not even trying to keep track of the days anymore.
I know humans are completely hopeless about the sick and injured, but I met a crippled former alpha and I. DO. NOT. LIKE. HER.
Where does she get off acting like that?!

Tsume came a few days ago; it's a relief to have SOMEONE familiar in this place.
Also, we're hunting down Menelaus. We're in some sort of forest now--whatever lives here smells weird.

Midna was fighting someone who did... something... and I can't...
Everyone was gone, and the world froze over again. I couldn't find them, no matter how much I called them, but that was a hallucination or... And before that, there was a girl who burned me with magic.
I know that was real, because my fur's still growing back.
I can't think right now.

Helen's gone.
The Elves can't find her. They didn't hear any yelling, but she didn't take anything with her, and they didn't see any strangers before she vanished. She would have said something if she was going to go somewhere! And I can't track her because somehow there's no trail and WHY IS SHE GONE

[One year later]
Everyone thinks I'll stop looking for her any day now. They think she's died, or Menelaus found her. They aren't saying it, but I know they're thinking it.
They think I'll give up.
NO.

There! See? Helen's back!
Tsume's the one who found her, but at least I didn't give up like everyone else did.
All I had to do was keep looking, and all I have to do now is make sure this never happens again.
They're out there, I know they are.
I'll find them.
