In the men's bathhouse section, a portion of the house that, thankfully, looked rarely used but still managed to stay nice and clean was set up with benches and several inlaid tubs, ranging from small and personal to large enough for four - if one really desired company during a bath you know for "male bonding" experiences. Everything was white tile and marble, and nothing fancy. However, it would be easy to imagine that, in such a sterile looking place like the men's bathhouse, the women's section would be something akin to the gates of Heaven.
It was here that Maleo lead his Uram, having found it with little difficulty and even littler life to it. Which was a very good thing, as a very big vampire was about to enter and be scrubbed of God-knew-how-old-filth.
Marlow was lead to a bench, and Maleo eagerly bounced over to one of the larger tubs, setting the pump system on full so the water would flow freely while they disrobed.
"Just put your things anywhere - I doubt we will have company here at night," said Maleo, already peeling his shirt off.

The vampire stripped himself for only the second time since coming to Paris, the clothing he had was so grimy it looked ready to fall off his body anyway. Much of the filth was simply mud, dirt, soot and dried blood--he didn't sweat or produce and odors himself that would stick to the clothing, still the smell was unpleasant, old blood and possibly a little urine from a victim or two.
He dropped the clothes into a pile and stood casually waiting for the bath to fill, his moonglow flesh marbled with filth.

Maleo dropped a couple of cubes of some sort of salt into the water, and when they dissolved, they did not smell of flowers and tea leaves, but like autumn leaves and earth after a storm.
Stripped fully himself, he tested the water's warmth, letting it run through his fingers while the level increased, then shut it off when he believed it would be sufficient to clean them both. In his mind's eye, he imagined Marlow better dressed, even if it was incongruous with his feral nature. Just anything but the soiled mess of clothing that he had sitting and rotting on the floor.
"It's ready," announced the Spaniard, carefully stepping into the steaming waters with a hiss.

Marlow stepped into the bath, unaffected by the temperature of the water, and found a marble ledge to sit on, leaving most of his upper body exposed to the air. To make things a little easier, he resumed a more human appearance, shrinking down and producing his short greying hair.

A bit surprised at seeing Marlow's smaller appearance, Maleo rubbed his eyes to make sure he wasn't hallucinating from hunger. Convinced that he was not having delusions, Maleo brought over a flannel and started washing off his Uram's chest without ceremony or announcement. It just merely contented him to wash the older man, even if he was less terrifying now. At least he would be clean.
"I should find you new clothing sometime... what you have seems ready to disintegrate," he murmured after a few minutes of washing, not even starting on himself yet.

The skin would have rubbed red had the vampire red blood in his veins. As it was, his flesh became somewhat translucent where it was scrubbed and quickly opaqued back to its usual pearly appearance after a few moments.
"I have had the same clothing since I arrived in Paris."

"That explains their state... Please, let me get you something else... If you do not wish to dress as sharply as I, at least a new coat, pants and shirt should do..." It just then occurred to Maleo that he did not even see the state of his shoes, but he assumed their state was probably just as awful. "As well as some better shoes..." he added, smiling up at his Uram.
"That way, you could even attend my performances without reproach," he said after a few more minutes of scrubbing the Strigoi's arms. "I am going to be in a new show - I have received a role in Faust."

"I do not wear shoes. They prevent climbing."
He stretched out a bit so Maleo could scrub at the rest of him. "What is 'Faust'?"

Maleo blinked a couple times, then chuckled a little. "If that is how you like it," he said, moving to scrub at Marlow's legs.
"Dr. Faust is a man of knowledge and science, and in the due course of the pursuit of his knowledge, he makes a deal with the Devil in order to know all things of the mortal world... in some translations. I think sometimes the Church itself tries to make a moral story out of it, because many times, Faust is damned to Hell." Maleo shrugged and changed positions, having grabbed his other flannel to wash out Marlow's hair, and straddling the Strigoi's lap.
"Either way, it's work and recognition for me - I get to sing, and you're back now..." he said, rinsing out the short gray hair with water sloughed from the tub.

"I will watch, if you wish." Though music had been long dead to him--he didn't even remember as much.
"Am I clean enough fo you to feed, now?"

"I would like that," he said, pausing for a moment to reflect upon his efforts, then sat back. It hadn't mattered so much that his human family would be unable to share in his music, but at least Marlow would be there, and that made it better, for some reason.
"I think we're ready..." Maleo replied, smiling lightly, staying where he was in the other man's lap.

The old vampire nodded once and took a still-dirty claw to his chest, letting the tarry blood ooze forth.

Maleo leaned down as started lapping noisily at the open wound, not hesitating to drain what he could form Marlow. When the oozing wasn't enough, Maleo repositioned himself, then suckled on the opening like a Remora shark.

Marlow stroked the boy's hair and let him feed for a couple of minutes before loosening him and setting him aside.
"I will let you rest a day before we continue. Will you now fetch me clean clothing?"

"Of course, Uram," he murmured Maleo with a smile, leaning up on his knees to kiss the elder's cheek, then got out of the tub. "I won't be long..." he promised, and dried himself off, then dressed.
When he came back, it was with a supply of clothing he had stolen out of the costume department; a dusty coat, a large button down shirt and a pair of loose slacks. He left the pile on a bench for Marlow to dress.
