Hans instantly brightened and winked, "This'll be the start of a wonderful relationship."
He cleared his throat and offered his arm.
"Well, may I have the honor of escorting you, Lady Medusa, to dinner? Assuming that beings such as yourselves eat?"

((I won't tell anyone )) Medusa grinned. Her voice was sarcastic, due to many former disappointments. "You think?" She took his arm graceously, not being used to such gallantry from someone who knew who she was. "Why, thank you. I'd be honored. I think I eat, even though I can't remember the last time I did."
