*****AFTER THE VISIT AT JOHN'S SHELTER****
*As soon as María returned home, she went to her office. She spent the rest of the evening writing a lot of letters. They all were to people under her command, and she required food, clothes, medicine, shoes. Then she suddenly got an idea and ordered school books and toys as well. She wanted it all shipped to the shelter for the homeless.
The next thing she did was writing a letter to her lawyer. She explained everything about her situation to him, and asked that when she died, all her money would go to John and Marie, so they could afford running the shelter for the homeless.
She called a servant, and sent the letters off, with a smile.*

****NEW DAY******
*María was sitting in her office, trying to work. She was pale and had a terrible headache going on. Sir Wilbur had haunted her in her dreams all night, and as always, his speech had been to muffled for her to understand what he wanted. But this dream had been different. She was not chased by his horse anymore. Instead he had been standing outside the mansion, pointing at the wall leading to the living room. Then he had disappeared into thin air.
María shook her head. She couldn't understand what it meant. She sighed deeply and tried to focus on the paper work again. She noticed a new threatening letter. The text this time was:
Witch! We know what you've been doing. Don't you think we know that you're sleeping with the devil? You will soon meet your end, burning at the stake.
Maria turned it, but there was no signature. She arched her eyebrows.
I wonder what Will will think about someone calling him the devil... the only person I've slept with is him.

*Will peeked in, not wanting to bother her.*
"Pardon, but do you have a needle and thread?" *He questioned easily.*

*María looked tired, but she smiled when Will arrived.*
"Oh, Will. I am so glad to see you. How are you today? Please come inside. I think I have a box of needles and thread in my desk drawer."

*Will wondered briefly why she would have such things in her office, but made no comment as he entered.*
"I'd be much obliged. I'm afraid that I'm a bit out of practice when it comes to keeping my clothing tidy. Don't normally have much of a problem, being all spectral."
*He noted her, sighing slightly.*
"I'm sorry if I kept you up too much last night."

*María smiled and looked up at him.*
"If you have any clothes that needs mending, I'll be more than happy to take care of it for you."
*She blushed by his mentioning of last night. It had been wonderful to sleep in his arms. She laughed.*
"Oh, Will. I have to thank you for last night. It was wonderful. I wouldn't have missed it for the world. No, you are not to be blamed for me being tired. I had nightmares again."

*Will waved off her offer.*
"I'm completely capable of my own sewing, thank you."
*He pulled up a chair next to her.*
"Though I am sorry about your dreams. Sir Wilbur again?"

*María smiled warmly, happy for his company.*
"Yes. But this time the dream was different. He did not chase after me on his horse. He was standing outside the mansion, by the wall into the living room. He pointed at the wall, and then he disappeared. Do you think that is significant?"
((Ooc: The living room is the same room where Sir Wilbur's wife, Lady Eustachia was murdered a couple of centuries ago. Every time someone tries to wash away her blood from the living room carpet, it reappears.))

"Possibly." *Will answered honestly.*
"Have you found someone to try to talk to him yet?"

*María sighed.*
"No, I haven't. It seems like there are no person in Paris who are capable of communicating with the dead. I have asked all my aquaintances."

*Will blinked for a moment.*
"Well...did you consider running an advertisement? I mean, those sort of people would seem to need the work, if you take my meaning."
*He smiled sympathetically.*
"It's not as if I expected you to just know somebody that could."

*María smiled and leaned over to him to kiss him.*
"Oh Will, that's an excellent idea. I will try to set up an advertisement."
*She looked over at him.*
"I believe you are a better wordsmith than I am. Do you think you could help me to write it?"

*Will chuckled in mild disbelief. The girl could run a fiefdom, hold an organized office and manage a host of staff, but she couldn't draft an add?*
"Sure." *He answered simply.* "Though it hardly has to be in rhyme. Just say what you're looking for, when you need it and how much you're willing to pay. Keep it short and concise, it's easier to read."

*María smiled and looked at Will, grateful for his support. She thought about what she could write in her add for a moment, and then looked questioning up at Will.*
"How about this? Wanted: Medium who can communicate with the dead. Needed as soon as possible. Payment: (Insert reasonable price.) Please turn to Duchess María Sheila de Lefévre at Chateau Noir (A Dark and Haunted Castle) for further information."

*Will gave a nod.*
"Just like that. Well done."
*He smiled roguishly.*
