"I'm allergic to tomatoes*" he laughed and started walking back toward Notre Dame.
((*His sueauthor also shares this allergy))

*Wild looked up at him.*
"I'm sorry, Amras. I wish I could help you cure that one day."
((I am allergic to shrimps.))

"It is no problem" he replied "I never liked them anyway."
((To Notre Dame!))

*It was dark, and the rain was pouring down. The streets of Paris was watering up, and everyone that had somewhere to seek shelter for the storm, crept inside their houses, hoping the storm would pass.
A young Elven maiden was walking through the streets, stumbling, like a sleepwalker, without caring her cape or dress being wet. Nothing could be worse than the pain in her heart.*
Once more I have managed to hurt the ones I love. Why do I even bother to exist? For what reason? I do not belong in the human world, and the world I once knew is long gone, though not forgotten. Not by me, who see the faces of the dead every night in my dreams.
*Already looking like a drowned cat, she didn't even bother to wipe away the tears from her face. She knew there would be new tears anyway. In this condition, she suddenly found herself outside the shelter. Thinking of the last time she was here, she smiled sadly.*
It's no use for me to go inside. I'm sure they don't want me here either. I don't belong anywhere.

John woke with a start in the middle of the night, the rain had started pouring and the thunder was rolling, but it wasn't what woke him.
It was the image of a girl.
He stood from his bed and pulled on his shirt running to his window, he gasped at what he saw "Wild!" He ran downstairs grabbing his thick robe and not taking the time to put on shoes, he ran out the door.
"My dear what are you doing out here in the rain, come one" he threw his robe around her "come, come!"

*Wild looked up at him, her pain was showing in her eyes.*
"I haven't the right to be anywhere, John. I'm a killer."
*The tears was streaming down her face.*

He knew, as soon as he touched her he knew "Shh, shh, let's not talk about that now, let's get inside." He ushered her through the door and toward a couch.
The shelter was deserted, at least in the living area, the ones that were staying there had all gone to bed.
He set her down and sat next to her.

*Wild sat down. First now she felt how soaked she was from the rain and how cold she was. She was trembling, and her hair was wet. But the worst part was the pain she felt in her heart.*
"And because- because of what I did- a good and noble priest has lost his faith and left Notre Dame forever, and my best friend will have no more to do with me. I don't belong in the human world, and the world I knew is gone."

He pulled her in close to him and rubbed her shoulder "Everything happens for a reason" he said softly "I am sure it was not just you that caused this priest hardship, no, I am sure of it. You're friend is just upset and will understand in the end" he grabbed her hand "and I'm afraid that I mean this most literally."

*Wild let herself be comforted by John. She wiped off her tears and looked up at him.*
"You think so? She told me to go seek out my own kind. But the only elf I know is Amras."

"I know so" he said softly, this girl, he saw her name, he saw her hardships through Wild. "It hurt her to say those things" he said suddenly "do not be angry with her."
He set a soft hand on her head and pushed the hair out of her face "Amras can help you if you ask him."

*Wild looked up at John with tears in her eyes.*
"I am not angry with her. I am hurt. I thought she was my friend."
*She allowed him to push her hair out of her face. She needed a father right now.*
"I have no idea where to find Amras."

*Wild hugged him back, grateful for the friendliness she got. She needed it.*
"I wish all humans could be like you and Marie, John."
*She straightened her back.*
"But I'm keeping you up. You should rest. And even if I would love to speak to Amras I can't wake him up in the middle of the night..."
