Armand cast a sideways glance at the indicated castle, frowning slightly. He couldn't...he didn't remember that. He didn't remember anything. He'd thought that he knew all of the vampires in Paris. He'd thought...that he'd been one of the most powerful- not in a vain way, not something that he flaunted, not really, just...a fact. Security. But now there were vampires everywhere, and there was this ball.
Ridiculous. So stupid. A vampire ball? Despite what Lestat had stressed to him, inadvertantly or not, Armand was loathe to be so conspicuous in front of mortals. Didn't anybody notice?
His lip curled, unconsciously. ...No. Probably not.
Maybe...maybe he would find Daniel there. Or Louis, or Lestat, or any of a dozen vampires that he knew.
"This ball," he said, looking bakc to Lucien. "When exactly is it?"

*Lucien told him the date- as he's said, it was little less than two weeks away. He noted the disdainful expression on that angelic face, and wondered why he would want to go, if he considered himself so much above such petty things as balls and socializing.
None of his business, really, but he couldn't help being a little curious.*
"I'll see you there, then."

"Yes." Armand would go. After all, if this ball was so famous, surely someone he knew would be there.
Speaking of which...maybe he should go around to the Theatre...
Armand moved around Lucien, towards the part of the roof that covered the back of the building and led to a maze of alleyways and small streets. Without another word he disappeared into the darkness.

*Lucien watched him go, shaking his head. He was a strange one. Still, he was gone for now, and that counted for something.*
