*Sylvia shrugged nonchalantly, moving to his desk and setting the basket down. She pulled out a bottle of wine and two glasses.*
"Nothing definitive. I simply told him that I knew someone in the field and would pass along his interest. I didn't give him your name or field." *She smiled back to him as she corked the bottle gently.*
"I have arrangements to meet him tomorrow in the Opera foyer at noon to deliver your answer."
*She filled both glasses, offering one.*

"Very well. Tell him I'll at least have a meeting, though I'm not making any promises."
He took the glass from her.
"So much for business."

*Sylvia's brow lifted as she brought her own to her lips where it hovered unsipped.*
"Did you wish to meet him at the Opera tomorrow, or would you like me to make other arrangements for you?"
*Easing into an inviting smile, she stepped closer, closing the distance between them as she lowered her glass.*
"And who says that business excludes a fine bottle of wine?" *Her eyes danced over his features, the ever illusive crack to give away what was on his mind.*
"Unless of course, you were looking to be done with it for the moment." *She breathed warmly.*

"He can come here- I suppose it would do some good to have other doctors to take care of things."
As long as they weren't ones who would object mto his experiments, of course.
"But then, I'm not sure I believe that he is the only reason you've come to see me."

*Her dark lashes lowered coyly, but the pressed smile gave her away. Sylvia couldn't help but be transparent to him. And strangely, she wouldn't have it any other way. After so many years of being fabrications of the desires of others, to be seen and loved for herself was a blessing. The faintest shrug lifted her shoulders.*
"Well...it was the main one." *Her brow arched as she half-lifted her eyes to his.* "Isn't that enough?"
*One hand drifted forward, tracing lightly over his hip.*
