"Hanged himself with his straightjacket. He hadn't made any escape attempts lately, and I'm afraid my workers became lax about his abilities to remove himself from retrainsts."
*That, of course, was the wonderful thing about Fear Toxin- after as much time as this had passed, there would be no trace left in the body. Any sort of death could be staged.*

"Huh." *Harvey pulled his briefcase onto his lap and opened it, thumbing through some files. He pulled out one, then closed the case and sat it on the floor. He glanced through it.*
"His body...I couldn't find anywhere what happened to it. Isn't it practice to release such unfortunates to the state, should they have no family?"

((Lois: No, Harvey would be missed. Not taking that chance...yet. )) "His body was claimed already. He did have some remaining family, though they were not close. Might I ask why you're so interested?"

((Yeah, at least at the moment. He's not being that pokey.))
"Oh, that would explain it." *Harvey nodded to himself.*
"It just wasn't listed and I'm afraid the fellow that had my office before me wasn't the most diligent when it came to the details."
*His smile was still friendly.*
"Just wanted to get things cleaned up around there, cross the i's and dot the t's as it were."
*He pulled a pen from his jacket.*
"Don't suppose you have that contact information, just for my files. I'd really appreciate it."

"At the moment. It would be helpful when you have a moment. Other than I just wanted to drop in and get to know a bit more about the local civil servants."
*Harvey grinned carelessly.*
"Just want the communication open should you need anything."
*He stood and offered his hand again.*
"Thank you for your time. I look forward to hearing from you."

***NEW DAY***
*Sylvia strolled contentedly through the halls, the shouts of the lunatics not at all disturbing. She was feeling surprisingly upbeat. Even with the lack of sleep, she felt a new sense of purpose and that was most helpful. Knowing full well that she hadn't had time for an appointment, she'd packed a light lunch and timed her visit where she might sooth any ruffled feathers with libations (or...whatever else). She knocked gently on the door, loud enough to be heard without being too jarring.*

"Come in."
This was probably the third interruption of the day, and Crane was beginning to despair of ever getting his work done. If this one wasn't Sylvia, they were in or a lungful of fear toxin...

((Poor Crane.))
*Sylvia peeked her head in first, in case he might have a patient with him. The sight of him (especially without one) drew a smile to her face, her eyes warm. She stepped inside quickly, but lingered by the door the shut behind her in case he was too busy for an extended stay.*
"Good afternoon, Doctor." *She sucked her lip in the briefest indecent thought. There just was something about him in his natural environment.* "Please forgive my interruption, but a matter has been brought to my attention that I wished to speak to you about."
*She lifted the basket slightly.* "And I thought you might benefit from a break, if you're work is not too pressing at the moment."

Crane stood, smiling.
"There are some distractions I welcome."
He kissed Sylvia fully, his hand wrapping around her waist.

*That was delightfully welcome. Sylvia dropped the basket gently to the floor, her hands sliding up his arms to wrap about his neck. She murmured in appreciation against his lips.*
"Just what the doctor ordered."
*She rocked slightly against him, kissing him in echo before leaning back, but just enough to meet his eyes.*
"Long day?" *She asked, tender concern in her expression.*

"You work too hard." *Sylvia kissed the corner of his mouth briefly, retrieving her basket and lifting it in question.*
"I met an interesting fellow last night." *She continued.* "He was looking for work. Scientist work." *She added with inflection, a small grin peeking.* "He seemed young, but eager. I did not know if you were looking for assistants."
