Conall bit his own lip, forcing himself to keep any screams to himself for the time being.
He reached out and forced his hands in to Daniel's hair, rolling them around his head and neck, as if he were searching for a weak spot.

He lightly scratched his nails across the other's shoulder, not too hard, not enough to really leave much of a mark or anything, just enough.
"You are simply delightful."
**FADE-OUT**

**FADE IN**
Conall lay staring up at the ceiling, breathing hard and heavy breaths.

Daniel lay sprawled next to him, waiting for his wits to come back.
"I think I needed that."

"You and I both" Conall chuckled and reached for his coat, pulling out a pack of cigarettes he'd found earlier the evening.

He sat up, stretching in a catlike manner.
"Glad to be of help."

Grabbing one, he offered the package to Daniel as he lit his own.

He shook his head.
"I used to be, but vampirism and it don't agree with each other. So no more."

"Unfortunate" he replied through the cigarette between his lips.
He rubbed his neck and smiled.

"There's a lot of things that that's so. You needs make some sacrifices for the life. I'm not sorry. Not by a long shot."

"I can tell" he smirked, looking over at him "you seem to enjoy your condition more than any man could ever say about his own."

"Mmm," he said, gathering his clothes together.
"Sometimes I think I'm the only vampire that truly likes being one." He shook his head.
"And that is a shame."

"Brood, whine, and harp on it constantly. You'd think, if they hated it so much, they would just walk out into the sun already or whatever kills them."

"Suicide" he laughed, grabbing his pants "it's not as easy as living with the total agony of immortality, I imagine."
He rolled his eyes and smiled "As much as I hate what I become" he looked down at his arms and chest "I can not ignore it, and what it gives me no mortal man could ever know. Makes us, special, don't you say?"
