**NEW DAY**
It'd been...a long time since he'd last set foot here over a year real-time. But he couldn't keep avoiding the opera house forever, since there were other people here that he knew aside from the several particular ones. Quietly, with no more grand an entrance than quietly slipping through the foyer, he ducked into the auditorium.
A flood of memories filled him--the early days, touring the opera; sitting with Micaela at the piano; the argument with Erik over Raoul...a...and of course, the operas.
((Tag...well, Jesse, but other benign opera-goers are welcome to interact with him.))

((Only on to reply to this cause I saw it))
Jesse was hanging almost upside down from some rafters above the stage, singing, not well, but singing and fixing some lights that had gone out. The managers had come out of their hole for a moment and just haaappened upon the lights.
Jesse told em to stick up there's and go back to their office.

((^___^))
Standing on the stage, after a while he couldn't quite help it and started singing Caruso.

Jesse stopped and looked down, finally realizing there was someone in the theater. The voice was terribly, terribly familiar, and when he saw who it was, he couldn't help but smile. It had been a while since his son had been born, and since that night, he had been afraid to even call Christian.
Jesse just hung there and listened, it was always a delight to hear Christian sing.

Back when he'd first come here, he never would have had the audacity to do that, but time and experience had changed him. He still didn't know that Jesse was there as he drifted over to the piano and sat down to play.

Pulling himself up he cleared his throat before Christian began to play.

He paused, fingers hovering over the keys. Had he heard...?
He glanced around, not seeing anybody.

"Look up you silly goose."

He slowly looked up, seeing Jesse at last.
"Hello." He said quietly. "A while ago, someone being up there listening in would be...something very different from a cowboy."

"I can only imagine" Jesse hopped down the ladder and walked over to Christian with an awkward smile. "Ain't like you ever told me much about your time here though, how ya been?"

"That's a...very long and convulted story." And Sarahs' too lazy to summarize it.
"All right. Doing what I can, here and there. And you?" He was being very cautious. Ever since...well...he'd wondered just what Jesse really thought of the whole situation.

Jesse shrugged "Just tryin'a live, takin' care of my son as well as Diana it's a, it's a bitta work."

"Right. I can just imagine how much work it is."
He glanced down at the piano keys, staring at the hand that still rested there.
"So, what will you do about...you and I?"

Jesse looked down at the floor of the stage and sighed "It's not as if I haven't been thinkin about it, god" he bit his lip "god I been thinkin about you every day since that night, an I can't thinka no good solution."

He was still staring at the piano, for the life of him afraid to even look at Jesse at the moment.
"Have to do something. It can't keep going like this...I don't want to be some secret."
