Isa came in with a smile "Good morning darlin."

She turned to Isa, wearing the smile that she'd perfected over the week--it looks like a regular happy smile, but it was only on the surface.
"Hello. It finally stopped raining." She glanced at the window.

Isa sat down her breakfast and yawned "How are you feeling?"

She eyed the food. She suspected that Isa brought it in, since she'd seen the infirmary food and it definitely didn't look like scrambled eggs and toast. Well, not THIS good, any way. With a small smile, she picked up some toast to nibble on.
"Hard to feel bad when you're the one making breakfast."

Isa blushed "You know me too well" she pulled forward a bag she was carrying and pulled out a bottle of orange juice "thirsty?"

"I know you're the best...oh, yes, please."

She poured a glass and handed it to Scarlet "There we are sweetie."

"Thanks." she replied softly, taking a generous gulp.
"So...when do you think I'll be able to go home?"
She'd been mulling things over, and had realized that if she wanted to know anything more about the monster that attacked her, she'd have to do some reading...which meant being somewhere other than home. But if it meant going to the library, then that's what she'd do. Besides, the library at least didn't look particularly sinister--just big and old-fashioned, as though it was from a previous century.

Isa sighed "See that's the thing" she looked up at Scarlett "you have to be able to talk to a therapist before they can legally let you out. They have to make sure you'll be all right to be on your own or that you have someone to watch you."
Isa thought about the psychiatrists that they had available to them and almost shivered "Would you be comfortable in talking to someone like that? One on one?"

She paused in the midst of eating her scrambled eggs.
"I...I can't. The moment I tell someone about werewolves they'll lock me up in a loony bin."

"Maybe they'll just say you began to hallucinate from the trauma" Isa knew she hadn't, she had been reading a lot since Scarlett's attack and was convinced that she was telling the truth.

"Hallucinations don't claw you up." She said with a shudder.

Nodding she rubbed the girls arm affectionately "Of course not dear, you, you were hurt. But maybe the doctors will say that you turned this man, that hurt you, in to a beast, in your head, so, so that not to hurt you so much" Isa looked down "maybe they'll think that. Even though, even though we know the truth."
Looking up Isa tried to smile "Maybe?"

*OUTSIDE*
*Under the window, a man walked down the sidewalk. He paused, and his nostrils flared briefly. He glanced about, then up at the window.
A smile curled his lips as he continued walking.
The moon was still too dark as it waned, but it was only a matter of time before it waxed full once more.*

Isa furrowed her brow, she looked toward the window and continued to smile.
It had to be her imagination, or the fact that she in a hospital, but she smelled far too much blood and it was coming from outside.
It had to be her imagination.
((Read a book one time that said that when a werewolf was nearby you could smell blood, it was a ways back, but it's fun for Isa if she's on her way to becoming the female version of Giles.))
