"We don't want that again darlin" she sighed "look when the police get here, just omit the, the monster part. They'll just chock it up to post traumatic stress."

She suddenly grabbed Isa's arm.
"But...but I can't! It scratched me! What if I turn into--"
She broke off with a sob.
"Oh, god..."

Isa hadn't thought of that.
Of course she never once doubted Scarlett's claims that a werewolf had attacked her. Isa knew they were living in a terrible fantasy novel here and if someone said they were attacked by a werewolf, than they were attacked by a werewolf.
"Red you'll be fine."

Her grip on Isa's arm was probably too hard, but Scarlett wasn't exactly focused on that.
"Or...or...what if...what if I'm..."
She couldn't say it out loud. Couldn't.

"We tested you, you're fine" she smiled "just breathe darlin, all right? Do that for me? Just breathe."

She nodded, trying very hard to calm down and mostly succeeding at it. She was still shaking, though.
"I...what do I do now?"

Isa shook her head "Honey the best we can do is give this mans description to the police and pray that they find something."
And if they didn't Isa would find this son of a bitch herself.

"But...but the police don't have silver bullets," she babbled, giving a disturbing giggle. "They'll get hurt and clawed and have their clothes ripped, too!"

Isa gritted her teeth "Red" she turned the girls face toward her "don't do this, not until you tell me what he looked like."
She had seen too many boys in the war go off the deep end before anything could be done about it.

She shivered, but finally described him to her, her voice wavering.

Isa was taking both mental and physical notes, what she didn't remember in her head she would have on the paper and she listened to every detail she could find. As Scarlett finished, Isa had all together a picture of a good looking man that could charm the pants off of any woman.
Werewolves, vampires, ghosts, ghouls and zombies she tried to smile for Scarlett's sake this town will litteraly eat you alive.
((I swear Isa's slowly becoming the verse equivelent of a monster specialist))

((She could be like a Giles, hehe))
Scarlett hugged herself.
"No more parties. No more."

((Lol!))
"Now don't do that, you'll pull out your IV's" she ran a soft hand across the girls forehead "I'll be right back" Isa stood up and walked out of the door and went to look for Dr. Howser to make sure he had called the police.

She leaned back with a sigh, wanting to curl upin a ball unable to thanks to the IVs. If it were possible, she'd find the nearest cave and hole herself up in it.

**DAYS LATER**
She'd spent maybe a week here so far. Not long enough to be released, no, but it still felt like a long time. Still, even though physically she was on the mend, her mind was far from easy. Nightmares of the incident still haunted her, and during her waking hours she was paranoid, unwilling to turn her back on the window or the door to the room. She watched anyone that came in, the only one that she really trusted was Isa--Isa was was the one constant.
Sometimes she'd lapse into hysteria, at others, she was strangely calm and lucid. In her lucid moments, she'd wonder when she would get better, or if her mental state would deteriorate. It couldn't. She had enough problems before, with the amnesia. She didn't need anymore.
And so the time passed.
