"No better time" John agreed and released Laszlo's hand to put his arm around his shoulder.
It was a beautiful day.

Putting his arm around John's shoulders, he walked at a steady pace as they wove around the trees. No need to hurry, because really, the pond--or park--wasn't going anywhere.

"It's gorgeous" he said with a deep breath "it's been so bleak lately, it's nice to have a sunny day."

"Makes me wish I could show you Valaha Zöld. A huge old park in the middle of Dracheheim, and it was beautiful year-round. Snow or flowers or just green, it didn't matter."

"Yeah."
There he was going again, using that city as a reference for everything. He was fairly certain he sounded like one of those annoying people that were always talking about how things were done back home.
"Here we are!"
The pond wasn't huge, but it was decent-sized and had attracted a couple of swans.

"Hmm" he smiled and looked about "it's clear, that's better than you an say of most ponds."

He wandered over to a nearby bench and sat.
"Good. It'll be peaceful, not that it hasn't been before now."

John sat down next to him and threw his arm across the back side of the bench and sighed "This, is nice."

Of course, now that they were here, he didn't quite know what to say or do.
"So...any plans for the shelter?"

"Well with the plumbing fixed and everything re-painted, honestly I don't know. We aren't exactly over flowing with people right now, which is unfortunate. Too many people on the streets, when there's places to go."
He cracked his neck "Although, oh I don't know, money isn't coming in quite like it used to and the bills are getting higher. Who knows how much longer we'll even be open."

"It could be that they don't think they deserve such a place, or they might not even know it exists. I know plenty who didn't."
He sighed.
"Well, there's not much you can do about the money thing."

"Just the church? You haven't asked the local government?"
