*She pulled him into a hug*
"Ye're dear to me, too. An'...in a way, it is 'enry sayin' it, right? So it's nice to 'ear anyway."
*She sat back*
"An' yep, I'll send word a'ead. Mebbe you can find somethin' in your lab that'll 'elp."

"Well... it is," he agreed. "In a way. I just wanted to make certain you knew that, considering his--my--reticence at times. I'm afraid he feels it improper to reveal his feelings. More's the pity. But nevermind that; I'm certain I can find something that will help, as long as I don't forget that's what got us into this mess to begin with."
He tipped her chin up with his fingers.
"Don't go getting into too much trouble before I can fix what I've done, hmm?"

*She gave him a wink*
"I promise, no more trouble than what is normal."

That... wasn't altogether comforting, but Harry laughed anyway.
"Excuse me, but I must write a letter to my more repressed half. Just in case he decides to conveniently forget what we've discussed."
Drawing on his trousers, Harry went to the desk and drew out paper.

"Hehehehe..."
*She hopped out of the bed and began pulling her clothes on. Well, they were Lucille's--the dress wasn't the sort she usually wore...though it was lovely.
She felt rather odd in such...finery. She smoothed her skirts, hoping they were supposed to fall that way*

Harry looked up from his letter and smiled openly.
"You look beautiful," he said.

*She gave him a nervous grin, feeling self-conscious*
"Thanks. I feel kind of funny wearin' it. Not somethin' I'm used to."

"It's most important to be comfortable, of course," he said. "But you do look elegant. You could buy whatever you like, though, Lucy. Would you like that?"

*Her expression brightened*
"I would love to. Mebbe somethin' in blue...Nellie used to say blue was my color."

"Blue would suit you," Harry said. "Do you need funds?"

Harry smiled.
"Right. Of course," he said. "That's good, then. You're accounted for."

*She straightened her shoulders a bit, eyeing the door* "'ere it goes, eh?" *Pausing to give Harry a peck on the cheek, she headed outside in her attire *

"Remember what I told you," he said gently, and watched her go with reservations before turning back to his letter.
He had to tell Henry, in no uncertain terms, that not only was Lucy/Lucille their responsibility, but that he should feel no undue guilt as regards either her transformation or his relations with her. Easier said than done, of course, for he knew Henry well and knew that Henry's moral code had him between the Scylla of his affection for--and attraction to--the girl and the Charybdis of his social status and his treatment of her. He did not expect Henry to fall in line with his way of thinking, at least not overnight. But he could at least attempt to lay out, logically, why Henry could do more good if he accepted her presence, and his own.
It remained to be seen whether Henry would approve of Harry at all, or consider him in any way his "good" half. In fact, it remained to be seen whether Henry would show up again.

**LATER**
*Lucy pounded on the door, not caring if anybody else in the building heard and came to investigate. Her heart would be pounding her chest, if she weren't undead at the moment.*
"'arry! 'arry!"
*She didn't like the hysterical tone of her voice, but there wasn't much to do about that now*
