*Figwit followed Eden politely, curious about what small human females harbored in their private rooms.*
((That was so not meant to sound dirty))

((Sure. I believe that. After all we've been through. )) *Eden left the door open behind her as she entered. The place looked relatively unused, full of typical girlie things that you'd expect in the room of a young child. All in all, pretty boring. And pink. She spun as he entered, shutting the door behind him quickly.* "That's much better."

*Figwit looked around the room. It was very pink. Pink was not a common color in Lorien, or where he was from. It was charming. Like flowers.*
"You do not enjoy the company of your parents?"

*Eden shrugged her tiny shoulders.*
"Nah, it's not like that. Just...they don't really understand me, you know? Like..."
*She gestured around at the room.*
"This...really isn't that me. If you knew me."
*She smiled and shifted the subject.*
"So...your parents. What are they like?"

"I like it," *he said absently.* "Like flowers."
*He focused back on her subject change, filing away his other questions for later.*
"I don't really know," *he said.* "I was sent away into an alternate dimension as an infant, so I might grow up in less time as this world runs. I am needed in Lorien. So I barely know Leetah--though she seems fair and decent so far. I have never met my father, though I know he is human and has a... propensity to wander."

"Huh."
We have more in common than I thought.
*She scooted closer to him, looking up with a smile.*
"So what was it like, where you grew up?"

*Figwit's dark eyes seemed to look far away as he recalled his childhood.*
"It is not like this world. Colder, darker. As if everything is concealed in a fog that lifted when I returned. I was sent there not only to be safe, for there was much danger there as well. The danger was necessary. To enable me to grow up strong and able. There were no children, no parents, only teachers. In my case, anyway. Swordsmanship, tracking, Elven lore."
*He fingered the edge of a laced curtain.*
"Everything about this world fascinates me."

*Eden quirked a brow at him. He seemed awfully...clean to be all confounded by this place. It was so...boring. She shrugged.*
"I guess so. But I've found that some of it is quite drab."
*She tilted her head.*
"What do you like best about this place?"
*Her lips twisted idly.*
"I like peanut butter. I missed it a lot."

"It's all relative, I think--I am fascinated because it's different. I imagine I'd be excited by anything different. I don't think I've had peanut butter yet," *he said.* "How long were you gone?"

Busted.
*Eden looked down quickly.*
"Overnight..." *She mumbled. It was kinda the truth.*
*Then she looked up at him excitedly.*
"We could make some sandwiches later, if you want."

*Why was she hiding? What was she hiding? Figwit wondered. But it would be rude to bring it up.*
"You must like peanut butter very much, then," *he said.* "So what is it you find dull about this world?"

Everything.
*Her tiny body collapsed in a sigh.*
"Everybody here thinks that I can't do stuff, just because I'm small. They say what they don't mean and try to hide stuff, like it's going to make things go away. But it doesn't. It's stupid."
*She swallowed before looking up to him with a hint of tenderness.*
"But you're not like that, are you? You seem to be very...forthcoming."

*Figwit sat cross-legged on the floor.*
"I don't really know any other way to be," *he said.* "And I don't know what human children are capable of, so I can't make and judgments there. What kind of stuff do you want to do?"

"Something..."
Anything.
*She thought hard for a long moment.*
"Do you kill things?"
*Her eyes were so innocent and the question so pure, it all seemed a little weird.*

*It wasn't the sort of thing he expected, coming from a tiny pale thing.*
"Um... I suppose. If it's necessary."
*His brows knit.*
"I don't like to, though."
