*Leetah smiled as she watched Eleanor leave. She knew that the woman was up to something since she had surrendered too quickly. Leetah's eyes were distant, and her brain started working.*
"False cries of murder, madame? We'll see about that... And I wonder what your beloved husband says if he finds himself face to face with his murder victims...."
*Leetah started chuckling with laughter.*
"My plan is almost ready... But now I need Sebastian and Wild. And, if I am lucky... Malefica's sorcerer husband Icarus."

((Mod question: What are we using the board for? If it's still a viable location, we should probably change it or move it to reflect the fact that the war's not on anymore.))

((We could probably move Malefica's Fortress to the residence area. There are no need for the rest of the board anymore. The fortress is still a place for Malefica and her friends to retreat when they need to have secret meetings.))

*******NEW DAY******
"Two huge grey wolves appeared in Malefica's fortress, carrying with them a blond elf girl, an old man and a lot of luggage. Dewshine dismounted the wolf and went inside to find Merlin.*

Walter waited with the wolves, patiently but nervous. As he always did, he took in all details of the room.

*Dewshine returned, with an old man dressed in blue and wearing a wizard's hat. His long hair and beard was white and his grey eyes showed intelligence, humor, life experience and a wisdom beyond human age. He bowed slightly to Walter.*
"Welcome to Malefica's fortress, Monsieur. Madame Malefica is at home, but right now she is busy taking care of her child. My name is Merlin. What can I do for you?"

Walter met the man's bow before extending his arm to show Merlin his stub.
"I want you to understand, I do not request magic from you, sir."

"I don't need magic to fix that. That's cheating. A little imagination is all that is required. Allow me...."
*Merlin studied the stub of his arm with interest. After that he studied his hand, to know exactly what it looked like.*
"Hmmmmmm. Clean cut. Should be easy to make a new arm. Would you like one of metal, with fingers that can bend, but not break?"

Walter's eyes brightened, but there was still a cautiousness in them.
"A... mechanical hand, sir?"

*Merlin chuckled with laughter.*
"Of course it is mechanical. All it takes are iron and screws and a really good blacksmith. Luckily we happen to have one of those here on the fortress. A young man, no older than 25. He will be glad to forge the arm, until it fits you."

Walter was apprehensive, but nodded in approval. He was curious, more than anything.
"If it's not too much, I've been through a lot tonight, I'd like to rest for a while."

*Merlin smiled and nodded back.*
"Of course, of course. You can have the guest room you see at the end of the hall there. My servants have already placed your luggage there. It will take a couple of days to make your new arm and make it fit to your body. And then there are adjustments to be made. Please walk around in the fortress, explore everything and feel at home. If you need anything, ask either me or Madame Malefica."

Walter entered the room and placed his bags in the corner before laying on the bed.
"Would you stay with me for a while?" he asked Dewshine.

*Dewshine looked up at him and smiled.*
"I have to take care of the wolves. They need water and food after such a journey. But stay here and get some rest. I'll come to see to you when I'm done."
*She walked down the hallway and was gone.*

Walter couldn't rest. His body was tired, but his mind raced. And the pain in his arm didn't help, either. He left the room, but there was nobody around. He began to walk around the fortress, admiring the artwork along the walls.
