*Leetah escorted Ramses into the palace. A tree house would not be fit for a pharaoh like him. She found him an enormous luxury suite on the West wing of the castle. It was fully furnitured with all the elegance a royal person could wish for.*
"Well, here we are. You can stay for as long as you wish. My brother Haldir is the Highest Commander of the Elven army, so you won't get any problems with the guards. Just tell them Princess Leetah has welcomed you to stay here as her guest."
*She smiled, with humor in her eyes.*
"Besides, with your intelligence, it would be easy for you to find out if the human rulers are trying to hide something from me, and you could report to me. Use this first day to settle down and get used to your new surroundings. Anything you need is here. If you have questions, don't be afraid to ask."

Ramses smiled happily at Leetah "This is wonderful! So much different than my world, or even Gaul, it's beautiful, the tree's seem so much greener" he touched her chin "like your eyes."
He moved in to the room and set his things down on the bed "Imagine a year ago I was about to let you stay with me."

"Thank you. You are too kind..."
*Leetah blushed and looked up at him with sparkling eyes. It felt like an eternity since last time someone had given her a compliment.*
"I am only glad I could return the favor. How does it feel to live in a castle again?"

"Oh I've never lived in a castle, sandstone palaces were my, uh thing I guess you could say." He winked at her and opened closets and looked out the windows "Do the, king and queen-" he hissed "know you are bringing me here?"

"Sandstone palaces? They sound marvellous! I have often wanted to visit Egypt. There are so much history there..."
*Leetah smiled with twinkling eyes.*
"And no, they don't know you are here. This is my family's part of the castle. Steerpike may not know it, but my family belonged to the upper aristocracy of Lorien. The father of the murdered king was the oldest brother of my father. So the human rulers have no say in the West wings."

"Good, I'd rather not have them upset at you immediately" he winked, making sure she knew he was joking. "So you are part of the royal family, a... princess of sorts, am I correct?"

"They will regret it if they start anything with me. I'll just turn them into frogs."
*Leetah laughed. It was good to have a friend again.*
"I am a part of the oldest royal family in Lorien. You might even say a princess. I don't think about it too often. So when the female human is strutting like a peacock, trying to defend her position, it makes me laugh."

"This woman, tell me, what does she look like?"

"She has light skin, dark, short hair, a bit "femme fatale." She reminds me of Patti Lupone, and is very eager to be a new Evita here in Lorien. But not everyone has melted for her charm. She claims to be innocent in the murder of the king and queen.
But there are witnesses to a conversation between her and Steerpike. They say that she knew about the murders and yet did nothing to stop it from happening. And Steerpike, the 17 year old boy, the killer, is slowly turning into madness. They say that he can see the ghost of the murdered queen. I think his conscience is finally getting to him."

Ramses recalled a story he had read one late night whilst in the library Hamlet he thought [/i]The boy is turning in to Hamlet[/i] he couldn't help but smile. He did not say anything to Leetah, for he was far to tired to explain.
"Madness you say? Well then it might be easier to remove him from his position as we earlier thought." Ramses smiled, almost devilishly "If he truly believes he is seeing the ghost of the dead queen, don't you think, and as terrible as this sounds-" he looked at the opened door and ran over and shut it "don't you think, that you could, play off of his oncoming madness?"

*Leetah's beautiful face brightened up in a great smile. She looked at him with tears in her eyes.*
"Oh, Ramses. If you can help me remove these intruders from my son's throne, I'll reward you anyway you want. But now you are tired, my friend. Rest yourself after the journey. I'll be back tomorrow. I can show you around in Lorien, and introduce you to the other elves. Good night, my friend."
*She smiled warmly and left the bedroom, leaving him to settle down and rest.*

Ramses smiled dashingly, with a hint of sexy and began putting away his things. Although somewhere in the back of his mind, he had a terrible urge to began, working both sides, as it may, and taking the throne, for himself, but once again this urge was quenched by the respect he had for a ruling family.
"Damn" he muttered as he pulled out what seemed to be a hundred books and placed them on the shelf.

******NEW DAY*********
*Leetah had been up early, checking the borders of Lorien and receiving reports from her friends at the court. Now she went to Ramses' room, to see if he had found himself at home. She knocked before she entered.*
"Good morning, did you sleep well last night?" *She said with a smile.*

Ramses stood looking at his books wearing a long white robe, a belt tied around his waist "Splendid, the bed felt as if I was sleeping on clouds" he walked over to her and bowed taking her hand and kissing it. "And you?"

*Leetah looked at him and smiled, with a glimpse of humor in her eyes.*
"Well, I have slept some of the night, but then there was some urgent business I had to take care of. Are you hungry? I can get us some breakfast if you like."
