*Edward nodded.*
"I was born to make this movie," *he said.* "You can trust me."

She smiled at him.

"So... do I need to know anything else? Or should I get started? How can I contact you?"

"Maybe I should go. Would that be allowed? Then I could meet everyone, arrange auditions, have a better idea of what I'm working with."
*He frowned in thought.*
"Do vampires show up on film?"

**NEW DAY**
*Edward tinkered with his things, planning out the new film, the effects, the locations, the extras. This would be his biggest film ever. His heart swelled to think he'd get to share it with Christine.
Ahh, but she was perfect. He gazed off into space thinking about her, shaking his head gently. She was a film all by herself. Beautiful and strong and sweet.
He wondered where she was.*

*Christine came in, having read the script, finally.*
"Edward? Are you in?"

*Edward shook himself and beamed at her.*
"For you? Always."
*He stood up and greeted her with a hug.*

*She smiled, feeling better already*
"It's so good to see you again. I know on set we've had to stay professional, but I've missed you."

*Ed kissed her, on the lips but quite chaste enough in its way.*
"Me too. Can't let them get any ideas about the director and the star--not that anyone could possibly question your suitability for the role."
*He glanced at the script.*
"Did you read it?"
*He asked with the air of a puppy who knows he's due a walk, but also knows that sometimes, inexplicably, the leash gets put away.*

"Yes, I did."
*In truth, it had been very hard for Christine to judge the script's quality, even putting aside her feelings for Ed. As a play, it was- there was no other word for it- horrible. But this was a movie, and she imagined that movie audiances were much more willing to suspend their disbelief. Besides, so many of the great operas had silly plots.*
"It seemed very cinematic."

*Ed's tenuous smile became a full-watt beam.*
"Aw, thanks! I'm glad you liked it. It is, isn't it? I think it'll be my greatest film."
*It gave him shivers, just thinking about it.*
"And the role? You're happy with her?"

"Well yes, I just-"
*She bit her lip*
"Well, the one thing is, i don't know how comfortable I am with nudity. I mean, in front of the camera and crew and everyone."

*Ed flushed slightly.*
"I thought of that. I tried to take it out--after it just wrote itself, you know--but it just seems to essential if we're to get to know the character. Who she really is, you know? But I had an idea--we can shoot around it. Get someone else to take your place--just for those scenes."

"Can you do that in movies?"
