Bonnie-Marie allowed Phillipe to lead her through the maze of walls to her new room.

*Philippe opened the door for her but did not enter.*
"Here you are, do ring the bell if you need to speak to me again."

"Thank you, monsiuer, you have been too kind."
She went into the room and set her tiny suitcase down on the bed, turning suddenly to catch him before he shut the door on his way out. "Oh, monsieur! I'm so sorry to bother you again, but I don't think I ever learned your name."

*Philippe turned back.*
"Philippe De Chagny."
*He grinned ruefully.*
"Comte Philippe De Chagny."

*NEW DAY*
*Well. The ball had been a bust. Scarlett was bored to tears, living here. Without even that stupid war to get everyone riled.
She entered Bonnie-Marie's room without waiting for an answer to her knock and sank onto her bed.*
"Ah'm just about fed up with being a widow," *she announced.*

Bonnie-Marie was still sound asleep until the door opened and Miss Scarlett entered. She sat up hurriedly, pulling the covers up to her chin. She wasn't sure what she was more embarrassed by: the fact that she had still been asleep this late in the day, or the thought of being seen in her underthings by someone she barely knew. (Even if that someone was a distant cousin.)
When Miss Scarlett spoke, Bonnie-Marie made a cute little humming sound to denote sympathy. "Have you ever thought about getting remarried?" she asked.

*Scarlett seemed to just notice the girl had been sleeping.*
"Oh! My, ah'm terribly sorry to disturb you!"
*She pouted.*
"And no. If I can't have Ashley, why, why, I'd rather die than marry another man!"
*She bit her lip.*
"Unless it's Andrew Blakeney."

Bonnie-Marie began untying the ribbons that had held her hair up while she was sleeping as she spoke. "I don't know Andrew Blakeney. Is he..." She thought for a second. She didn't want to say 'available,' because that would suggest that Miss Scarlett might be interested in a married man, something Bonnie-Marie was certain should not be suggested. "Is he, um, interested in you too?"

*Scarlett batted her eyelashes.*
"Why, ah'm certain of it! We only met once, but he was most kind and attentive."
*Surely she'd know if he was taken or not. Besides... it didn't really matter. Scarlett was charming.*

"Well, that sounds promising! We'll just have to find a way for you to see him again."
Bonnie-Marie rather liked this girl-talk thing.

*Scarlett nodded, eyes shining.*
"You'll help me, then?"

Bonnie-Marie smiled brightly. "Of course I will!"
Just then a tiny calico kitten bounded onto Scarlett's lap, seemingly from nowhere, and began playing with one of the ribbons Bonnie-Marie had just taken out of her hair. "Oh, kitty!" she cooed, scooping it up. She looked up at Scarlett. "I'm sorry, I just got her yesterday."

*Well, that was nice, then. Scarlett didn't particularly like other girls, but it didn't hurt to have one or two in your camp.
She squealed with delight at the tiny kitten.*
"Oh, no, she's darling!" *Scarlett exclaimed, teasing the cat's nose. Scarlett was rather too impatient to be good with animals, but it didn't mean she didn't think they were cute.
When there weren't any bodily fluids involved.*
