**QUITE A NEW DAY... THIS TIME WITH ADDED SPOCK**
Amras knocked quietly on the door, hoping that the captain would be home... and alone.

Spock stood anxiously behind the tall elven man, too hoping, although unknowingly, the same thing that Amras was hoping.

((Screw it. Kirk just went poof. We can figure out why later.))
And all at once, completely without warning, Kirk found himself in his treehouse, a tapping at the door. It wasn't the same as being transported--there was more disorientation, for one. He blinked a few times, trying to recall where he was, until he recognized the things around him. He'd never spent much time here, though he'd been grateful to the elves for letting him stay.
After a moment, he recalled the knock at the door, and went to open it, his expression somewhat befuddled until his saw Spock. At which point his face broke wide into a smile, his joy at seeing his old friend pure and unadulterated. He threw his arms around the Vulcan, slapping him energetically on the back before leaning back to stare slightly up into his face.
"Spock!" he cried.

"Captain" Spock smiled, finally glad that his search was over "I'm afraid I thought I'd never find you."

Kirk loved it when Spock smiled. It was so unusual, and therefore so genuine. "Couldn't be helped," he said. "How did you?" He'd been on this planet--or time--or whatever--for what seemed like an age. It wasn't like Spock to take this long.

"If you are asking how I came to find you were here, the answer is that I can not be sure, I had aimed to be beamed down to another planet and found myself here. It might be that I am now in the same predicament that you are in."

Kirk's eyes narrowed in thought as he took this in.
"That's how I got here," he said. "It seems... something... wants us here."
He looked past Spock to see the elf behind him. "And this gentleman brought you to me."

Amras bowed in respect "I am Amras Seregon, Wild's... partner."

Spock raised his eyebrow "So it would seem."

Kirk raised a friendly eyebrow. "Her... partner," he said. Lucky him--and good luck to him, too. I'm James Kirk. Thank you for bringing Spock here. Anyway--come in, come in!" he cried. "Unless, Amras, you have something else you need to do."
This was not at all a hint, but a well-meant inquiry.

Amras nodded his head "Alas I do, I have a meeting with the elders" he bowed again "it was a pleasure meeting you Mr. Spock" he bowed again and "I hope to speak to you another time."

Spock nodded "And I you" and with that it Amras made his exit and Spock moved quietly passed Kirk in to his home. "How have you been fairing Captain?"

Kirk smiled easily, his eyes twinkling. He had missed Spock, and thought of him often. To have him here, even if it meant they were both stranded, was a great comfort.
"Well enough," he said casually. "The Elves are a wonderful people." He gestured to the treehouse as evidence. "And I've had a few adventures, in the meantime. You?"

"I-" once again, if a Vulcan could blush "I've had a few encounters..."

The pause was... not like Spock. It was ever so much like Kirk, of course. So it made him pause, lean back, and watch Spock carefully.
"What sort of encounters?"
