*Liam sat back in his seat, waiting for class to begin. Chances were he'd spend the whole time attmepting not to fall asleep... today's class was on the French revolution, and Professor Doherty had an innate talent for making even executions at the guillotine sound dreadfully boring.*

((You HAD to, didn't you?))
*Andrew sat down next to Liam with a pile of books.*
"Oh, excellent!" *he murmured, squinting at the day's lecture topic on the blackboard.*

((Yes, yes I did.))
*Liam blinked at Andrew.*
"Have you heard the man speak? It takes some talent to make the French Revolution sound boring, but damned if Doherty won't try."

*Andrew glanced at his friend and grinned slowly.*
"...I think I can help."

"Oh good lord, whatever are you going to do to me?" *He chuckled, noting Andrew's tone and the smirk on his face.*

Tempt not a desperate gay man.
*Andrew bent his head closer to Liam's.*
"...alright...let me explain things to you a little differently..."
*Andrew proceeded to spend the class relating educational first-hand tales of the Revolution and its horrors--stories from his father, of course, though he never mentioned names.*

"BUTTRAEP! HALP!"
"You'd think beheading people 24/7 would get somewhat monotonous." *He commented as the professor began to hand out an essay prompt for a paper due next week.*

"I think they kept at it out of stubborn pride, after a point. They realized it was all going wrong, but by then they were just stuck in the groove of executions."

"You wonder which was worse--the clueless king and queen or the bloodthirtsy regime that came after the revolution." *He was still trying to comprehend what he'd been told.*

"While the excesses of the monarchy to the detriment of the working classes WAS terrible and ought to have been changed, the Republic went too far," *Tony said, dark and terrible passion writ upon his face as his solemn and contemplative expression settled upon him like a mask. He stared sightlessly down at the lecturer for a moment before he stood, gathering his books.*

*Liam raised an eyebrow at the passion in his friend's words but made no remark, piling his books into his bag in no particular order.*
