Wolfgang held his bag in one hand and looked up at the townhouse "Nice place" he knocked on the door and took a deep breath.

((MANDY: *randomly decides to change her posting style*))
Vienna set her pencil down on her sketch pad and rose from her desk, straightening a curtain on her way to the door of her study. Descending the stairs quickly (as she was a strong, independant woman who certainly didn't need any help to answer a door), she caught a glimpse of Wolfie through one of the stained-glass windows on either side of the handsome carved door and ran a hand over her hair to smooth it.
Opening the door, she smiled and drew herself up straight, the best to both show authority and accentuate her hourglass figure. "Wolfie, come in..."

((Haha )) He pulled up his little bag and nodded with that large smile on his face. As he entered the house he was stunned "Nice place."

Vienna shrugged as she closed the door behind him and led the way into the parlor. "I haven't had much time to decorate yet."
The parlor blatantly contradicted this statement. Ornate tapestries and expensive paintings (by Degas, of course, because there's totally nothing cliché about Degas in this circumstance) covered the walls, potted plants and well-preserved antiques were attractively displayed on shelves and tables, and an ornate mirror was hung over the softly glowing fireplace.
"Would you like something to drink?"

"Wine, if you have it" he smiled and began looking at one of the tapestries.

"Of course I have it."
She disappeared into the adjoining room, returning quickly with a bottle. "I trust your journey here was a pleasant one?" she asked as she retrieved a couple of glasses and began pouring, not particularly interested in his answer. "I'm actually not sure how far you had to travel."
After placing his glass on a table and settling herself on a chaise lounge, she gestured to the sofa across from her. "Sit."

Wolfgang took the glass as he sit and sipped it... generously. "You're actually quite out of the ways here- but it was pleasent yes" he smiled knowing she couldn't care a less, but he was determined to make her like him...

"Good, good," Vienna said vaguely, barely hearing him. She stood again, setting her own glass down on the table without having taken even a sip yet. She gestured toward a handsome wooden staircase that wound upwards out of sight. "There are two bedrooms upstairs you can choose from. And mine."
She wasn't quite sure what she'd meant in adding that last bit, but now that it was out she was curious how he might react.

"Oh?" He raised his eyebrows and stood with the glass "I'm sure they're all... wonderful." He smiled and took another sip.

She noticed the look in his eyes and couldn't quite stop herself from arching one of her own brows in response. Stop it, she scolded herself. You can't do this within the first five minutes. You have to make him wait for it.
She strode to the staircase. "Would you like to see the rooms?"

She began climbing the stairs without another word, acutely aware of how much her hips swayed and how closely the skirts of her dress clung to her backside, and also aware that Wolfgang had certainly noticed both of these facts.
"This is the first room." She opened the door to reveal a room that was rather narrow, but more than made up for that fact with its plush furnishings and large window. "And the second is down here..." She took him a few feet farther down the hall before opening a second door. This room was larger but had no window.
"And that's my room," she told him, gesturing to a door at the end of the hallway. For a moment it looked as if she would lead him to it, but she remained still.

"They are very nice rooms Vienna" he finished his glass with a quiet gulp and turned with grace toward the end of the hallway "but- we haven't seen you're room. You promised to show them all to me."

Vienna stared at him from beneath lowered eyelids. "I don't remember promising you anything of the sort, Wolfgang. However, if you must."
She floated to the end of the hallway and pushed open her bedroom door, standing aside for him to see in past her. The room within was extraordinarily lavish, featuring a large four-poster bed with a canopy and a bay window with a view of the river.
She leaned against the doorframe. "Do you like what you see?"

His eyes hadn't moved from Vienna "Oh yes, very much so" he moved in to the room with a smile and looked out the window "what a lovely view."
