"Don't worry--I'll help you out."
*She placed a hand on his arm*
"We'll have to find somewhere to put that body."

*Norman fought his instinctive tremor when she touched him, and smiled gratefully at her.*
"There's a pond out back," *he said.* "If we can find enough rocks to weigh it down."

"Sounds good to me."
*She moved to the dinosaur, feeling a bit awkward about trying to lift the beast*

*Norman went to help her, and they carried/dragged the heavy carcass to the water's edge. Norman had some rope, and they tied its limbs to some rocks before heaving it in. Then Norman got out his trusty mop and bucket and they set to cleaning up the blood.*
"You shouldn't be doing this," *he said eventually.* "It's my motel."

"I don't mind helping. I'd feel pretty useless just standing around letting you do it alone."

*Norman smiled.*
"I guess. I'm just not used to..."
*He trailed off. He wasn't used to anything, and he knew it, and it was tedious remembering that.*
"Thanks."

*She smiled*
"Thanks aren't needed. I like helping you out."

*Norman wondered if he'd get sore from smiling so much, and so genuinely, in such a short amount of time.*
"I always thought vampires would be mean," *he said.* "I mean, if they existed."

"I think it all depends on what your personality was when you were human. I don't feel like being mean, or going around chasing people."
*She chuckled a bit at that last part*

*Norman chuckled nervously.*
"That's good," *he said.* "I guess... one psycho killer is enough for this place, huh?"
*He wished immediately that he had not said that.*

"Well, there's actually quite a few around here, but nothing that can be done about them."
Or, that I'd be willing to do about them.
TO them, eh?
SHUTUP!

"Oh! I meant the... the hotel. Sorry, I shouldn't joke about it. Especially when the joke isn't funny."

"Oopes, sorry. Some things just go right over my head, you know?"

*He wondered if it was a vampire thing, or if Sarah Maria had always been this insensitive. Not that it really mattered; at least she was willing to talk to him. Establish casual physical contact.*
"Sure," *he said. That last thought had reminded him of something.* "Say... how do you, you know, stop? I mean, if you wanted to... to eat someone. Or when you bit me. How do you make yourself stop?"

*She had to avoid, once again, biting her lower lip because of her fangs. Rather annoying.
Instead, she clasped her hands together*
"It takes a lot of concentration. And willpower. I think if I'm really angry or something like that, I might not be able to stop."
*Her tone of voice suggested that she did not like that prospect*
