"Good."
*He smiled, relieved. He liked serving people. He opened the package and arranged the cookies neatly on a china plate. Then he found some evaporated milk and mixed it to give them each a tall glass. It wasn't great, but it would do for cookies.*
"You can't eat cookies without milk," *he pointed out.*

"Thanks!"
*Like she used to do when she was a kid, she took one and twisted it so that one side was left with creme and the other just cookie, then licked the creme off.*
"Heh-heh...I missed these."

*Norman stared at her.*
"You don't... um, make a pike of the cookies and throw them out, do you?"

"Nope. I eat all of it. They're too good to waste, you know?"
*Having polished off the current one, she took a drink of milk and started on another*

"Oh. Good."
*Norman sat back, relieved. He didn't like wasted cookies. He thought of another girl he'd had back here, only she'd eaten sandwiches.*
You eat like a bird.
*This girl drank blood, and ate all her cookies.
He really hoped the voices wouldn't come back.*

*She suddenly held one out to Norman*
"Want one?"

"Thank you."
*He took the cookie. It was sweet of her to offer, even if he could take one from the plate just as easily. He looked around the room. Things were so different, yet so similar. He smiled again, nervously.*

*They had a few minutes of companionable snacking when a side door crashed open to reveal the dinosaur on the other side. The thing was ravenous, having been shut up inside the building for so long, and it was also very pissed off. It roared at them as Sarah jumped to her feet.*
"Holy shit!"

*Norman flung himself out of the way, then remembered he was probably supposed to protect the girl. He threw a stuffed crow at the beast.*
"Run!" *he shouted.*

"No! I can kill it!"
I think.
*Not even knowing what the hell she was doing, she threw herself at the thing, knocking it off it's feet. She and the much larger beast went rolling across the floor before she was flung loose*
"Ow."

*Norman screamed.*
"Get out!" *he told her.* "It's a dinosaur! You can't fight it!"
*He hovered around the edges of the fight, until he remembered his knife. He went to the drawer and grabbed it, only to hover a few more moments out of range. Finally, he took a deep breath and stepped in, knife shining.*

*She got back up and, instead of running, jumped onto the prone dinosaur and tried to hold it down. It wasn't easy, even with vampire strength*
"Stab it, Norman! Kill it!"

*Norman complied, but without much finesse. He just hacked wildly at it, astounded at himself; he'd never done this in his right might. Or whatever this was. But his thrusts hit the dinosaur, and he could only hope it was enough.*

*After several nerve-wracking moments, the dinosaur stopped moving and a pool of blood began to form on the floor beneath it. Sarah stood up, eyeing the corpse warily as she moved to stand next to Norman*
"That was...er...something else."

*Norman watched the blood sadly.*
"I hate cleaning up," *he said, with almost comical mournfulness.*
