Sorcha let the horse set its own pace, one hand loosely holding the reins while she gripped the pommel of the saddle with her other hand, to keep her balance with the swaying of the animal's walk. Out of the stable and down a small hill, to the fields and sea-cliffs beyond, she scanned the horizon happily, a doofy smile on her face.

"No matter what changes...it's home," said Sorcha softly, though her thoughts tended towards a humble little stone cottage and the woods, cliffs and sea, rather than feeling any ingrained sense of belonging with the sprawling manor and its exquisitely-tended gardens.
