Just spirited. *She smiled and patted the filly gently.* And I'd say that's a good thing, wouldn't you?

*He smiled lopsidedly at her.*
"A wonderful thing--she's going to make a wonderful horse one day. Her mam was spirited for a brood mare, as it is--a true hallmark of her homeland."

*She steadied the filly, who was starting to get impatient with all this standing around.* I'd say someone here wants a good run. Micaela, are any of the pastures open?

"I wouldn't suggest it--she's not trained to carry a rider yet; doesn't even recognize a saddle." *He explained.*

*She smiled.*
"I think we should get them into their stalls first, personally. Exercise after--I'm sure they've been cooped up for far too long for comfort." *She said to Scarlett.*

No no no, I didn't mean ride her, I meant turn her out.

"Oh, yes then. Let's get these six to the pastures--the stables are this way."
*She jerked her head in the correct direction and took the leads of Cara and Brigid.*

*He took the leads of the other three, leaving Aithne to Scarlett. He thought to himself quietly, following Micaela as she led them.*

C'mon, sweetheart. *Talking quietly to her all the way, Scarlett managed to follow Mic and Mic without being completely stomped on by the slightly prancy filly.* Easy, sweetie. *She finally calmed down a little once she realized she wasn't being abandoned by the other horses and walked quietly.*

"Are you around horses often, Miss Scarlett?" *He asked, falling in next to her. The filly obviously liked her and she knew how to handle the antsy horse.*

*She looked up at him, realizing that he was quite a bit taller than she was.* Not as much as I'd like to be.

*He looked down into her hazel eyes.*
"Perhaps you'll be able to visit your godmother. Aithne seems to like you." *He said, as Aithne nuzzled Scarlett's shoulder from behind.* "I've spent all my life around them."

Well, I'm here for a little while, at least. Aithne's spectacular.*She smiled, turning and dropping a kiss on the filly's muzzle.* I'm so jealous of you, then- I can only spend as much time with the horses as I have money to pay for it.

*He laughed a little, a low, deep sound that was geniune and welcoming.*
"I never had much choice--every man in my family has been involved in breeding since me great grand-da. But I do love it, as little choice I had in the matter."

I can't understand how anyone doesn't like horses- they're wonderful.
