*Sylvia shivered at his words. She turned back to the estate and fumbled with trembling fingers to fit the key to the lock. Finally managing, she opened the door and went inside. She didn’t feel any safer.*

*Mondego couldn't hear anything and that told him that something was going on. He quickly left his hiding spot just in time to see Sylvia and the strange man leave his home. Not surprisingly, his servant was unconcious on the floor with a broken glass next to him.*
Oh well...
*Talking to himself out-loud*
"It seems our ... friend ... is a bit rude and doesn't trust his host."

*Sylvia walked back towards Mondego with her head lowered, noting the poor man on the floor as she passed. She didn’t mention him though. Her voice was remorseful.*
“Please forgive me, sir. That was uncalled for. I meant no disrespect.”

*sigh*
"No need to apologize. You did nothing to disrespect me. Who was that man that violated my home and thoughts?"

*Sylvia sighed gently, but did not look up.*
“He is a dangerous man, sir. A client…please don’t ask me to explain further. He would do horrible things…”
...if I ever told you anything.
"I am sorry that you were violated thusly by him. I will do whatever please you to rectify the situation."

*Mondego was not sure how to handle this. He really didn't care who the person was but he was upset by the disrespect this man gave him. Apparently, he was dangerous.*
"You look upset. You do not have to tell me about him. What is your favorite meal? Maybe we can take him off your mind as much as possible for the rest of the day. If that doesn't seem possible, maybe we can find a way to get him out of your life. He seems to push your limits the wrong direction."

Be rid of Thatcher? That is too much to hope for…
*Sylvia looked up to him with a small smile.*
“You are too generous, sir. I don’t mean to be rude, but my stomach is not up for eating at the moment. Perhaps we might retire somewhere that I might sit and catch my breath? Then I will take whatever meal you would wish. Just please forgive me if I do not partake of it with you. I promise to remain in good company. He is just…very trying.”
*She took his arm gently, looking up at him with a hint of desperation.*
“Would that be all right?”

*Mondego could sense a fear he had never seen in her. He hadn't known her for very long but he knew more about her than he thought he would.*
It's complicated...
"I'll have some fruit brought to my Private Room. I'll do what I can to relax you before you feel the need to go."
