*Brandi steeped the tea and poured a cup for him and set it in front of him with the tray of milk and sugar. She smiled gently at him.*
"Perhaps if you would like, I might be able to help lighten your spirits. I am acquainted with a few women that would be all too happy to enjoy the company of such a handsome fellow."

*He added milk and sugar to his tea.*
"Oh?" *he asked with a hint of a devious smile.* "You've captured my interest, Mademoiselle."

*Brandi smiled and arched her brow.*
"Well, there is one girl in particular...terribly sweet if a bit odd. Loves to have a good time. Very into experimenting with others."
*She filled a carafe with juice in case others came in for breakfast.*
"Would that sort of thing be of interest to you? She's always eager to get to know new people. Especially attractive ones."

"Indeed?" *He smiled* "I too am eager to meet new attractive people. She and I must have quite a lot in common."

*Brandi's brow furrowed for a moment, but her smile didn't fade.*
"Well...I'm pretty sure you have at least one thing in common. And that's what really matters, right?"

*He raised an eyebrow.*
"I suppose so, yes."

"So..."
*Brandi wiped her hands on a towel.*
"When would you like me to send for her?"

"Whenever it is convenient for you, of course. I don't wish to put you out of your way," *he said sipping his tea.*

*Brandi smiled sweetly.*
"She's not to far away, sir. I could have her here this afternoon, or this evening. Whichever you prefer."

*He grinned. It seemed this would be a marvelous opportunity to get the look on Rochester's face when he saw the painting out of his head. It wouldn't have been too bad if they were friends, but now that things between them were less than friendly, he didn't want to deal with the risk of him knowing...*
"This afternoon would be wonderful. Thank you."

*Brandi nodded and hung the towel up on the oven.*
"I'll see to it then, sir. Have a pleasant morning."
*She smiled and curtsied before making her way out of the kitchen.*

**LATER THAT DAY**
*Dorian came downstairs, wondering if the woman the hostess had spoken about had arrived.*

*Poe wandered in, clutching a small note, looking a little lost but ever inquisitive.*
"Excuse me, sir...but I am looking for someone. Do you think you might be able to help me?"

*He smiled.*
"I'm always willing to help someone as pretty as yourself."

*Poe smiled brightly, but lowered her eyes with a small curtsy that she had learned at Dahlia's house.*
"You are very kind, sir. His name is...Dorian Gray."
*She offered the slip of paper to him, which was just the address and name.*
