"Until I am able to find more permanent lodgings, yes," *he said, taking a seat.*
"I offended my previous host, you see."

*Brandi pursed her lips knowingly as set to making eggs in a basket. That was English, right?*

"How terribly perceptive," *he said dryly.*

*Brandi fought the urge to roll her eyes.*
"He'll see it wasn't your fault eventually, you know..."
*She spoke casually as she heated the butter in the skillet without turning to speak to him.*

*He scoffed.*
"One can only hope. Though it seems he's in love with the woman. People are incapable of sense when they are in love," *he said disdainfully.*

Well that's an understatement.
*Brandi carefully cut and grilled the toast.*
"Very true, sir. It does seem to...complicate things."

Well...kind of. Having Sylvia fall in love serious decreased her playability.
*Brandi nodded and cracked the egg into the center.*
"But a fresh start for you, sir? Is there anywhere I might direct you? Someone I can help you find?"
*She smiled sweetly over her shoulder.*

*After a brief pause, he replied,* "I don't believe so."

*Brandi nodding understandingly. She slid the toast onto a plate and set it in front of him.*
"Do you take tea or juice, sir?"

"Tea, thank you," *he said, eyeing the toast suspiciously.*
"This is... interesting. What do you call it?"

Or not that British.
*Brandi blushed lightly as she set on the kettle.*
"Eggs in a basket. I hope it's all right. I can make something else if you'd prefer."

((Just not frou-frou enough. )) "No, it's fine. Just something I've never seen before." *He took an experimental bite.* "Not bad. Thank you."

*Brandi studied him, chewing her lip in thought.*
"Maybe something else too? I don't know how much you like to eat in the morning."
*She pulled down some tea leaves from the cabinet.*

"This is fine, miss. Thank you."
*He watched her as she prepared the tea, wondering why other people made things so damn difficult.*
