*She sighed heavily, but content, trying to assess the situation and answer his question.*
“I…uh…think so. Tired though. Really tired.”
*But Brandi could deal with tired. Tiredness was nothing in comparison to finding a way to get Cry-Baby back. Hell, she could probably deal with Drac too. There was a tingling in her skin at the realization. Something fresh and new.
Power.*

"Good. I can go, if you need rest. I can keep an eye on the inn for a little while if you need me to."

*Yes, that would be good. Brandi smiled weakly.*
"If you don't mind. That would be...wonderful." *She inhaled, content to remain resting in his arms for the time being though. Her lashes fell shut, her expression more peaceful than it had been for some time.*

"I'll keep an eye and ear out." He said softly, not moving as he didn't want to disturb her...and didn't want to let go.

"Hmmm....mmm hmm." *Brandi concurred groggily. He was warm and comfy and the feel of tshirt on her cheek...it was so close to Cry-Baby. Not that she thought he was, but...in her state, it was certainly close enough. She nuzzled against him as she drifted towards sleep.*

((Awww. *hugs*)) Raziel didn't move when she'd drifted off, staying where he was and simply her in his arms, rocking gently side to side. She needed to rest. They could talk more later .

***NEW MORNING***
*Brandi shifted awkwardly in her sleep, twisting the sheets around herself and tangling in them. Her dreams were shifting, too rapidly it would seem. They bled into each other and warped any semblance of continuity. Smoke, those eyes...lips. Desire.
She shot up with a start, panting to urge air into her lungs. Her forehead beaded with sweat. Blinking, she looked around, not immediately sure of her surroundings. Then it came back to her. Right. She was here. He wasn't. She frowned and attempted to free herself from the bedding. She tried to stand without thinking but her knees buckled and she sat back on the bed in confusion. Everything was sore and tight. Glancing to the window, she wondered how long she'd slept. She didn't remember going to bed. Or what day of the week it was. She should really start keeping a calender or something.
Rubbing her temples, her mind raced, trying to sort her dreams from reality. Right. Dracula. And Raziel. And...oh. Yeah. That too. She blushed, glad that she was alone in that moment. She tried to shake it off. There was work to be done.*
