*Marius staggered up to his room and shut the door behind him before he fell to the floor, sobbing.*

*After some time, Brandi was walking down the hall with a basket of fresh linens, musing at what a delightful sandwich Geoffrey Rush and Joaquin Phoenix would make. Then she heard the most horrific sound. It was coming from Marius's room. She set the basket down and knocked on the door.*
"Sir? Are you all right?"

*Enjolras appeared next to Marius, floating and unnervingly transparent. He smirked at Marius.*
"Don't tell me you fell in love again."

"It's all right, sir. Rent isn't due. I just wanted to check on you."

*Marius shrugged miserably.*
"I feel so terrible...so terrible...I could sing!"
*deep breath, woeful look*
"There's a grief that can't be spoken. There's a pain goes on and on. Empty chairs at empty tables Now my friends are dead and gone.
There you talked of revolution. There it was you lit the flame. There you sang about `tomorrow' And tomorrow never came.
From the table in the corner You could see a world reborn And you rose with voices ringing I can hear you now! The very words that you had sung Became your last communion On the lonely barricade at dawn.
Oh my friend, my friend forgive me That I live and you are gone. There's a grief that can't be spoken. There's a pain goes on and on.
Phantom faces at the window. Phantom shadows on the floor. Empty chairs at empty tables Where my friends will meet no more.
Oh my friend, my friend, don't ask me What your sacrifice was for Empty chairs at empty tables Where my friends will sing no more."

*Enjolras rolled his eyes and attempted to clamp his hand over Marius's mough but couldn't, being ghosty and all. Instead he plugged his ears.*
"You aren't going to start that again, are you? 'Cause if you are, I'm going to leave."

"You always were dramatic. Now what the hell is wrong?"
