*Francis guided Irene into their new home and showed her to a beautiful decorated bedroom ((you wanna be historical about this and have them have separate bedrooms?)). Francis, who had already taken off his jacket, smiled happily at Irene and opened a window to allow the fresh night breeze to enter the room.*
"Do you like our new home?"

((Why not. It'll get Irene out of the way while the Count clues in Francis. By the way, have you gotten any better at fighting?))
I smiled and went into my room.
"It's lovely. I'll just unpack my things."
I went into the seperate room with my suitcase.

*When Francis is alone in the room, Dracula takes off his cloak of invisibility*
"Good evening. I offer my congratulations. I wouldn't have thought a poor artist would be able to find a bride."

((*looks around nervously* I knew I had forgotten something!))
*Francis blood froze in his veins as he turned around slowly.*
"You."
*He glanced over his shoulder to the door through which Irene had just left and looked back at Dracula with a look of pure hate.*
"Get out."

*Smirks*
"My boy, I'm afraid you don't quite understand. Why would a lord visit his serf on his wedding night? I have come to collect my right."

((I might have thought Francis would know, coming from the aristocracy and all...))
*Dracula looked at the door of Irene's room. Then he looked back at Francis.*
"My right of First Night, naturally."

((Yeah, but he's a good guy, he wouldn't even think that somebody would use that right *pats Francis on the head* Sucker))
*Francis staggered back and his eyes grew wide of shock.*
"No. Never."
*Francis shook his head and looked at Dracula as if he was making a joke. He had to be making a joke.*

"Of course you won't. You'll protect her. Just like you did last time."
*Dracula grabs Francis by the back of the neck*
"But I am not a cruel man. I would not keep you from your bride on your wedding night."
*He drags Francis over and kicks down the door to Irene's room*
"You can watch."
