*Dracula sat down on a leathery chair and picked up the book that he was reading. It wouldn't be long before Vincent would have done his job.*

*Dracula put down the book and grinned widely. It was done, the boy was dead.*

*Vincent walked in to the library. He saw Dracula and walked over to him, hoping it wasn't too obvious he'd been crying.*
"It's done. I ki-" *Vincent swallowed hard, refused to cry again.* "I killed him."

"Yes, you did very well."
*Dracula leaned back in his chair and fixed his eyes at Vincent.*
"Tell me how it happened."

"Uh..."
*Vincent looked around, as if he wanted to make sure nobody else could hear him.*
"I went to his house and snuck inside. I was in his bedroom. He must have felt my presence, because he showed up very soon. And then... I killed him."
*Vincent frowned at the memory.*
"Irene saw me. Lune and her obnoxious husband too. They ran in to the room while I was killing him."

"Details, details my boy. Did he suffer? And did Irene saw him die?"

*Vincent nodded.*
"Yes... He suffered, although he died fairly quick. And yes, Irene saw him. She was right by his side when he died."

*Dracula closed his eyes and smiled.*
"Good, very good. Sit down Vincent."
*Dracula opened his eyes and looked at Marijke who had just entered the library carrying a tray with two glasses of blood on it. She placed it on a table next to Dracula, gave Vincent a sympathetic look and then left the room again. Dracula picked up a glass and passed it to Vincent.*
"You did well."

*Vincent took the glass and sat down.*
"Thank you, sir."
*He glanced around in the library. It sure was a splendid room.*

*Dracula picked up his own glass, took a sip and put it down again.*
"Lune, the one you so desperately love, she saw it too?"

*Vincent looked down at his glass in his hands.*
"Yes, she did. I didn't know she was in the house."
*Vincent took a sip before he continued.*
"She cried and screamed. I hate to see her cry! She wanted to talk to me, she asked me why I did it... But I couldn't even look at her. So I left without saying a word to her."

*Dracula stared into space, looking rather thoughtful.*
"That makes things slightly more difficult for you, but not that it can't work as an advantage."

"Advantage? Like how?"

"You were forced to kill the boy, you had no choice, I would have killed her, that husband of hers and Aurel if you hadn't."
*Dracula smiled wickedly.*
"At least, that's what you tell them. The only one who knows the truth except for us is Irene, and she is not going to be able to say a thing."
"Turn yourself into a tragic hero. Cry to her as you did before you came to see me."
