*Jo winces back.* I think I will just eat some bread.*She grabbed a piece and turned back to Arielle.* So, how did you meet Teddy?

*Arielle took a bite of cake, taking her time to come up with her answer.* I met him over at the opera house, actually. I work there, you see, and I always try to greet anyone visiting or anyone who wants to work there. It's such a large place, and it's so easy for people to get lost and end up somewhere dangerous.

*Jo began to nibble the bread. She looked up, fire in her eyes.* I'm sure I will manage, I've always loved adventure.

*Arielle locked eyes with Jo.* Adventure is one thing, but an angry opera ghost is another. Gerik is pretty much harmless, but Erik can and will kill you first, ask questions later. The cellars are dangerous- I would advise you to avoid them if you go exploring around the opera.

*Jo felt a flare of challenge rise in the other girls eyes and stood.* I'll keep that in mind.Look thanks for the bread. I have to go and find a lawyer to sort out this mess.*She picked up her bag.*

*Arielle sighed.* Very well. If you ever need a place to say, the door will always be open for you. Don't hesitate to stop by. *She smiled tiredly, but genuinely.*

"Excuse me, Ms. March". I finally caught up with her. "I'm handling investigations regarding Mr. Laurence's death, and I'd like to ask you a few questions."

"Wait!" And so another suspect refuses to be questioned. I am not getting paid enough for this.

*Teddy's ghost sits airly in a nearby chair and turns the pages of his book.* "You're not getting paid AT ALL for this..."

"Tell me about it. This is the last time I do something out of the goodness of my heart." I turned to his ghost. "I suppose it would be cheating to ask you who the murderer was?"

*Teddy raised an eyebrow.* "Bitch, please. You know that sh*t wouldn't hold up in court."

"Yeah. Unless it was like in that movie Rashoman where the murdered man communicates through a medium. But I guess that hasn't been filmed yet. Hell, movies haven't even been invented."
I pulled out a cigarette. Looks like I picked the wrong week to quit smoking.
