*Vincent blushed as Lune threw herself in his arms. He didn't actually know how to respond to her behaviour. After a short moment of hesitation, he wrapped his arms around her, and hugged her back. Then he looked down at her with kind eyes.*
"You worried about me?" *he asked her softly, and was nearly about to lean down and kiss her.*
*Then he remembered why he actually had come here, and snapped ut of his strong urge to kiss her.*
"Lune, I need to borrow your house. Me, Francis and Irene need to stay there to keep Irene safe from Dracula for a while."
*He kept staring at her, not wanting to take his eyes away from her seet face.*
"It would be really great if you could let us stay there for a while. Please? You'll be needed there too, to help us protect Irene."

*Francis stood in the doorway and felt like he was intruding on something. He looked down to his feet and waited for Lune or Vincent to notice him.*

*Lune looked slightly surprised at Vincent and Francis.*
"It isn't over yet? Is he still torturing that poor Irene?"
*Lune looked angry all of a sudden.*
"Of course you can stay in my place! Let's go there right now! If Dracula shows up, I'll make him regret it!"

*Vincent nodded.*
"Great. Let's go then." *Vincent smiled at Lune and turned to Francis.*
"We should bring Irene to Lune's place as soon as possible. Maybe we need to inform Aurel about where we're going as well."
((And we're off to Lune's and Bijan's place.))

***A COUPLE OF HOURS LATER***
*Vincent arrived and stood before the massive wooden doors as he had done so many times before. He looked at the sky. Full moon. He sighed and walked over to the doors and knocked.*

*Aurel's servant opened the door and with a smile and a nod let Vincent in.
Aurel himself walked past the door as Vincent walked in, and instantly threw himself over him.*
"Where is Lune, you little punk?!" *he roared as he took Vincent by the arm and threw him across the room.*
"Don't think I trust you, boy. In my eyes you are still a betrayer!"
*Aurel walked over to him, his green eyes burning.*
" Where is she? Speak up!"

*Vincent fell to the ground as he hit the wall, surprised and shocked by the violent treatment.*
"She's at home!" *he growled back* "We needed a place to take Irene, and Lune let us use her house. I was sent here to inform you that."
*Vincent stood up and stared at Aurel. He knew Aurel had a good reason not to trust him, but his words and the look in his eyes had hurt him.*
"I know you don't trust me." *he mumbled.* "But it's the truth. You can come and see for yourself if you want to."

*Aurel glanced suspiciously at Vincent. Then he nodded.*
"Fine, I'll go with you."
*He looked at Vincent one more time before he turned and walked out the castle.*
The kid has grown up... Maybe it was wrong of me to accept Bijan? Maybe I should have sought to it that he and Lune got married instead?
*Annoyed he waved his hand at Vincent.*
"Come on! You don't want your beloved to wait for you, don't you? Hurry up!"

*Vincent grinned. Just now, it felt like the old times.*
Is he trying to cheer me up?
...Thank you...
*Vincent hurried after his former master and started to lead the way to his angel's home.*

***A NEW NIGHT***
Aurel entered with gracious, powerful movements as he swung the large wooden doors open. On his way back home, it had started to rain, wich Aurel didn't approve of at the time. He didn't feel like getting wet. He glanced back to see if Nicolas was still with him.
"Nicolas? Do come in."

Nicolas did not normally wait for an invitation, but Aurel was different, somehow. Now that they knew each other, at least in one sense of the word. He smiled and entered at a more mortal speed, clasping the back of one arm with his hand, the other loose and carrying the violin case.

Aurel smiled at his sort of casual and boyish ways of behaviour. It felt nice to have company yet again, Aurel had been too lonely these days - Nicolas's presence had spoiled him before.
"Are you hungry? Can I offer you anything?"

"Mm, no. I fed not long ago," he said with a smile, dragging his eyes from a painting hanging on the wall and back to Aurel's. Vampire eyes were always striking, startlingly so, but they were generally a version of the color that had been there in life. Armand's were brown turned into something almost the color of amber; his own were brown, flashing with a rich red that might have been stolen from an ember. But Aurel's were bright green. Against the pale skin and the handsome black hair, it was particularly hypnotizing.
If one was easily distracted, at any rate, as Nicki was. He gazed at him a little longer, and then glanced away, looking back at the paintings on the other wall, now, smile fading but his mood and manner remaining pleasant as he absently walked down the hallway to join him.

Aurel felt very conscious when Nicolas stared at him, and almost felt like he was about to blush. He had forgotten the feelings he got when Nicolas was near him. As Nicolas looked away, he followed his gaze and noticed one of the painting his eyes had landed on.
It was a painting of a beautiful woman, presumably a relative of his, whom he'd never met or forgotten over the years. Why he had it there, he still remembered though. Vincent and the servants had insisted he'd bring some of his paintings with him when he moved here from England. Aurel stared at it, feeling a little sad that he couldn't remember who the painting was supposed to decipt.
"I can't even remember who that is." he mumbled.

"It doesn't matter," commented Nicolas idly, in a soft voice, eyes almost misted over as he looked at it, with typical vampiric lack of understanding of his environment, of how much time had - or hadn't - passed. Even on the road back to sanity, there would be moments like this. "What only matters is that the painting is beautiful."
After a moment, he appeared to come to, and the look he threw Aurel was warmer, the turn of his head more animated.
Absently placing a hand on his shoulder, he said, "I don't really think that, as far as art is concerned, the point behind anything makes any difference. It's just art. Skill is the only thing that counts."
He let his hand slide off his shoulder as he walked past him in the hallway.
"Would you like me to play for you sometime?" he asked without looking back. He wouldn't mind if Aurel said no, but he'd have liked to, all the same.
((YAY YOU'RE BACK!!! *glomp*))
