"Man. Is our company that bad?" *Buffy quipped.* "Get well soon!"
*With that, she walked out, ready to storm the castle. Or whatever.*

Good riddance.
*Sylvia rolled her eyes as she watched them leave. She sighed heavily, turning back to the page. She couldn't focus however. Her head hurt. Too much time in this stupid place. She kicked her feet over the side of the bed and stood. She made is a few steps before she staggered, overcome by a wave of nausea. She shut her eyes tightly trying to dispel it as she instinctively pressed on her stomach, trying to alleviate the feeling. After a few deep breaths, she steadied and started back to the bed to lay down.*
Maybe a few more days here wouldn't hurt.
*She reached for the side of the bed, but missed as her knees buckled and she fell to the floor. Holding herself there a moment, trying to calm down, she waited with shallow breaths. Then she threw up. After, she felt a bit better, but hurried to clean the mess. She didn't want the nurse to see the blood. She crawled back into bed and cried herself to sleep softly.*
What's wrong with me?

*Diana saw Sylvia sleeping as she quietly entered the room. She opened her chart, and recorded all the usual things. Everything seemed to be normal: her BP was fine, the heart monitor showed normal QRS--wait. Narrowing her eyes, Diana stepped closer to get a better look at the screen. For a moment, the T waves didn't look right...but a moment later, they was fine. Still, she thought it was significant enough to write down. Sighing, she closed the file and turned to leave--*
What--? *Her shoe stuck to the floor for a moment as she turned. Frowning, she looked down to find a big, red smudge of blood on the floor contrasting with the green tiles. She looked up at the monitor, then looked down: Sylvia was breathing shallow breaths and the monitor now showed her oxygen saturation at 89.*
*She urgently shook Sylvia awake.* "Sylvia, wake up. Are you bleeding?"

*Sylvia came to groggily, she had been sleeping deeper during her recovery, seeing Diana above her.*
"Oh...Diana...what? Bleeding..."
*Her hands flew instinctively to her chest, but the pale scar was unchanged. She laid back lethargically.*
"No...I'm fine..."

*Diana eyed her warily before taking out her stethoscope to listen to her breathing.*
"Have you been having a hard time breathing? Lightheaded?" *she asked, placing the cold diaphram of the stethoscope on her chest.*

*Sylvia's brow furrowed and she shook her head.*
"No...not really. Just a little nauseous sometimes. It's nothing."

*Diana finished listening and hung the sthethoscope around her neck. Sighing, she pulled up a chair, sat down and gently took Sylvia's hands.*
"How are you?" *her tone showed that she wasn't asking about her physical well being.*

*Sylvia tightened her lips and sighed. She spoke softly, as if imparting a secret.*
"I hate it here. Please...just let me go home. I miss Jon--...I would like very much to get back to my routine."

*Diana smile sadly.* "No one likes the hospital but... I'm going to have to keep you here for a bit longer just to be safe. You're not fully recovered yet and if I sent you home, something might go wrong," *she explained caringly, gently squeezing her hand.*

*Sylvia signed, saddened by her answer.*
"When? When will it be long enough? I feel like I'm going mad here."
I'm so alone.

***NEW NIGHT***
*Sylvia twisted anxiously in the sheets, plagued by troubled sleep. She wanted to go home, to be in her own bed again, to be...somewhere else. Her body calmed slightly as sleep overtook her once more.*

*Dracula wandered down the hall, all of his sense heightened, but it wasn't enough. The potion had weakened him and now all he could sense was that his beloved wife was here, in the infirmary. He could not feel if she was dead or alive. Finally, after what seemed to be an eternity, he found the room in which Sylvia was sleeping. He entered silently and walked over to her bed. He exhaled in relief to find her very much alive. He softly caressed her cheek as a smile played around his lips.*

*Sylvia's brow furrowed in her sleep. She shifted her face away from his hand. Suddenly, in the silence of the room, there was a small familiar voice.*
My love...is that you?

*Dracula whipped around, facing the directions from which he had heard .... no, it was impossible. How could he have heard his wife's voice when she was fast asleep on the bed behind him. He glanced back to her.*
