((I am crazy like that. It usually freaks out other people more then it freaks out myself.))
*Marijke put a hand in front of her mouth and tried to think of sad things, like dead puppies or the Phantom sequel. It wasn't working.*
Dammit, I am freaking Simon out. I am sooooo weird.
*Marijke's eyes grew wide with fear when Simon asked her about Drac's reasons and she stopped laughing.*
"Brandi."
*She sat up straight and swung her legs over the side of the bed, grunting because of the pain in her head.*
"Doc, ya gotta let me go. The Reaver ... he .... he is going to hurt someone else. Oh it's my fault. Why didn't I stop him!"

*Simon pressed her gently against the shoulders, urging her back onto the bed.*
"All right...it'll be fine. Just tell me where he's going and I'll send for the police. You're not in any condition to be leaving, much less trying to save someone, Reaver or no."

"The police won't be able to stop him! Hell, we don't even have police around here, maybe some NPC dudes, but no real characters."
*Marijke was getting a bit lightheaded but that never stopped her before.*
"I totally ratted her out instead of fighting him, which I could have, kinda. I could have kneed him or shoved a broken bottle in his face, that always works for Irene."
'Cept were Irene always ends up getting raped and shit.
*Something went all buzzing in the back of her head, but Marijke ignored it, because she was stupid like that.

**NEW DAY**
Still somehow possessing Daphne, Scarlett walked into the infirmary, approaching the first nurse she could find.
"Hello, is Isa in?"
Now that she had a chance, she wasn't going to waste the opportunity to see her best friend.

Ooooh, this place looks terribly modern.

The nurse looked up at smiled at the pretty red head "Yes she is, I'll page her for you, who should I tell her is calling?"

Without even thinking, she said:
"Scarlett Booth."

The woman's face went white "Scarlett... Booth..." she shakily grabbed for the intercom and paged Isa to the front.
"Isa to the front, a miss Scarlett to see you, I-Isa to the front."
There was a silence that fell on the hospital, one so quiet, that you could hear the slow, but steady foot steps of Isa coming down the hall.

She clamped a hand to her mouth, realizing what she'd just said.
Oh, shit, Daphne, I screwed up!

Slowly Isa made it to reception, her heart was pumping more blood than her body could take and her eyes were wide. She was sure that it must be a mistake, or a terrible coincidence, but she still had to see for herself.
When she made it to the reception she stopped dead in her tracks, she was faced with the back of a very skinny red headed girl, wearing modern clothing.
"Scarlett?."

She couldn't help it. Even though she shouldn't be answering to the name, since at the moment she wasn't herself, she turned toward Isa.
"Isa, I--"
And cut herself off.
"We, uh, need to talk." She said quietly.

The girl looked like Scarlett, same eyes, same hair, same voice.
"You're not Scarlett, y-you can't be, Scarlett is dead."

She had the overwhelming urge to cry, and she could already feel tears welling up. It took a lot of effort to fight it back.
"It's...I've a story to tell, if...if you'll let me." She said pleadingly.
