Sarah shifted with a groan when she was lifted out of Spike's arms, and for a very brief moment she smiled when she saw Isa.
A shame that when I do see her in person, it's like this...
Thanks to the pain, though, she drifted back off into unconsciousness.

*Spike looked almost surprised as he looked down at himself after Sarah had been taken from his arms. There was blood, though he had thought it was all zombie. At least...he hoped it was. But he became painfully aware of something else. His body was really hurting. Not one place in particular, but as the adrenaline started to subside, he realized how much his limbs ached. He even felt a little shaky in the knee. But it would pass. He forced himself to shake it off with a tug on his coat.*
"Nothin' that needs more than a hot shower." *He assured her firmly.*

"I don't care what you think, this is a hospital and we must treat everyone. You can have a hot shower once we've taken care of these cuts, you've got one on you're leg there that I am sure needs stitches, now no more excuses and lets get a move on." She grabbed a nurse by the arm, instructed her to take Spike to a room so she can clean and dress his wounds.
Moving over to the woman he was carrying she smiled, noticing that she wasn't completely out of it. She was sure, at least at that moment, that this girl would tell her the truth, if the blond didn't. Moving along with the doctors each of the four people were treated for their wounds and placed in to a room with curtains dividing them. Sarah would be the last one to be brought back in, slightly medicated.

*Spike frowned, ready to protest but in the end, it seemed rather pointless. He had to remember that he would no longer heal easily and he should probably take care of himself. So he conceded, following the nurse.
Afterward, they had instructed him him to rest. So here he lay, staring at the ceiling and wondering to himself if there wouldn't have been a better use for those sheets. Maybe on a bed? He sighed, frustrated by his own inadequacy at the situation.*

When she next came to, Sarah had a brief moment of confusion before it sunk in that she was at the infirmary. She had glimpsed Isa very briefly earlier on, but that had been...how long ago? Hell, she didn't even know how long the fight had gone on. She heaved a sigh, feeling weary. It felt strange, to think that that longtime worry of hers was a worry no longer. But at the same time, she felt a huge weight gone off her shoulders--it was over. Done.

Jay sat very quietly on his bed, staring out at the wall, as if he'd never seen a wall before. Time had gone back and forth all day, and he wasn't even sure it was day anymore, as there were no windows. Hearing another bed being brought in, he pulled himself off of his bed and walked out, to the right was Sunflower, sleeping, to the left was Spike walking past the blond man with a nod he saw Sarah.
Smiling he came over to her side "Hey beautiful."

"Hey," she croaked, wincing. Her neck was going to hurt like a bastard for a while, she could tell.
"Dunno about the beautiful part, at least not right now."
She could practically feel the bruises, which was never a good sign.
She sighed.
"But I'll get over it."

He leaned down and laid a very soft, very careful kiss on her lips "You're always beautiful to me."

She shook her head, trying not to smile as her face hurt.
"Nooo, don't do that. I know how I look at the moment."

"Oh posh" he chuckled and sat down "we all look pretty bad right now."

"Yeah, but I'm--" she flinched, putting a hand to her neck.
"I have a feeling I'm going to be in here longer than everyone else."

She closed her eyes, sighing.
"I can't believe...after all this time...that it's over." She said quietly.
"I feel like I'm dreaming, and I'll wake up tomorrow and it'll have all been in my head."

((I totally giggled at your admission to True Blood addiction. You and me both, hun.))
*Hearing the others talking Spike considered getting up to see how they were, but it wasn't long before he realized it was probably better that he stayed put. He hadn't known about the two's apparent relationship. And he knew all too well how a bad fight could make the bonds all the tighter.
He sighed, thinking only of Buffy. He prayed she was all right. This Paris seemed pretty rough, but she'd always managed to take care of herself. And she was a vampire now, so she was probably better off in that regard. But he worried for her and the soul she no longer possessed. What would become of her?*

"You've got nothing left to worry about Sarah" he took her hand with a smile.
