*Maria stumbled into the Infirmary, with her left arm dangling beside her body, obviously broken and her backside filled with small shards of glass.*
"Can somebody help me."
*Maria cried out, feeling that she was very close to fainting form the lose of blood and the pain she was feeling.*
Next time, I am so bringing a bazooka to kill these bastards.

*Mac rounded the corner of the infirmary and headed for the girl.* Oh, that is going to hurt.Right.*He began to rush around the hospital collecting supplies.*Guessing you've been fighting again?

"Yeah, although it seems like it's more, me getting my bottom kicked then me actually killing anything. I'm such a disappointment."
*Maria sighed and sat down on a bed.*

*Mac winced.* I'm thinking that sitting down with bits of glass in you is going to hurt. *He gently nudges her onto her side.*Right, arm or arse first?

*Maria agreed that her sitting down was a bad idea, so she rolled to her side and clenched her teeth together.*
"Arse first, arm later."

*Mac nodded.* Alright then. *He removed the pieces of glass and moved over to see her arm.* It is broken but cleanly. You were lucky. He bandaged her arm.* So why did you go back again so soon?

"Thanks."
*Maria smiled shyly at the question why she had come back so soon and shrugged.*
"I was wounded and I remember you saying that you're a doctor and you talk English, so yeah."
*Maria looked at her bandaged arm and hoped that she wasn't blushing.*

*Mac looked thoughtful.* I see...I mean I don't mind but... *He avoided her eyes.* Why do you do it?.Why do you put yourself in the way of danger?

"Someone has to, my father did it and when he died there was no one else, so I decided I would take on the burden."
*Maria looked up at Mac and smiled sadly.*
"So far the only monsters I have actually killed were a couple of gnomes and they are like two feet tall!"

*Mac nodded.* I see but perhaps it would be worth practising a bit before you try to take out all of vampire kind?

"I'd think that would be very wise."
*Maria smiled and played nervously with a bracelet she was wearing.*
"Could you, by any change, maybe, if you would really want, teach me about vampires and such."

*Mac shook his head.* I don't um know much about vampire, I only really came across them when one of my patients became one but I could show you how to patch yourself up quickly?.*He looked at her questioningly.*

*Maria smiled even brighter and nodded.*
"I would love, I mean really appreciate that. I could probably use that a lot and I am eager to learn."
*Maria stared deeply into Mac's eyes and then quickly looked away.*

*Mac ignored the frisson of attraction that ran through him and began.* Right, well firstly you need to be able to bind fingers.*He picked up a bandage and passed it to her.*

*Maria looked at the bandages and frowned.*
"You're supposed to wrap this around your finger, right? Like this."
*Maria took Mac's hand and wrapped the bandage around his index and his middle finger, in a rather unprofessional way. Still holding his hand, Maria looked up and shrugged.*
"As you can see, I really don't know what I am doing."
