((Was just waiting for the right time.))
*Alex was enjoying a plate of bacon and eggs after a taxing night of comforting Kris when Rochester asked them to come and meet someone. She rose, as did Kris herself, who had been eating copious amounts of buttered waffles. They followed Rochester.
She could see that the other girl was immediately struck by the new arrival's looks; Alex could see it objectively, and he *was* a bit pretty, for a boy. She cocked a playful eyebrow.*
"Good morning, good gentlemen. Who have we here?"

*At her voice, Rochester turned back in the doorway. He really could be quite oblivious sometimes.*
"Oh darling...I just wanted to introduce the new houseguest."
*He made his way back to them and kissed both of them on the cheek affectionately.*
"Kris...Alex, this is Dorian Gray, newly arrived from London. Dorian, this is Kris and Alex, the most blessed companions a man could ask for."

*Dorian smiled playfully at Rochester before turning to two women.
*Good morning, ladies," *Dorian said with a slight bow.*
"It's very good to make your acquaintance."

"Likewise," *Kris said, her eyes shining with an appreciation Alex thought just a few shades too obvious. She frowned.*
"Did you tell him I was a girl, Rochester? Oh, dreadfully sorry; pleasure's mine, and all that," *she said, turning to Dorian and bowing, offering him a cheeky smile to offset her earlier mock indignation.*

*Rochester blushed lightly.*
"So sorry Alex. You know that sometimes my mouth gets ahead of me. I'll be better in the future."

*Dorian laughed. He'd never met someone like Alex; he liked her. He switched his attention to Kris, who seemed to be staring at him a bit much. He flashed her a dazzling smile.*
"I can tell that my stay here will be anything but boring."

*Rochester grinned and started to plate some food for him.*
"No worries. We don't believe in boredom here. We do everything we can to keep ourselves entertained, right?"
*He eyed the girls.*

"It's okay," *Alex said.*
*Kris knew she was flushing a telling shade of pink. The rp gods were kind to her, but did she have to be so obvious about it?*
"That's Rochester," *she said.* "If you're not enjoying yourself, it certainly won't be his fault. So... where did you two meet? If you don't mind my asking."

"We met at a party," *Dorian said. "Hosted by... what was has name? Gatsby, I believe."
*He smirked.*
"We didn't stay long, though."

*Rochester grinned at the girls.*
"Apparently it was boring..."
*He rolled his eyes playfully.*

"Compared to your home, it certainly was," *Dorian said with a grin*

*Alex laughed.*
"That reminds me of how I met Rochester," *she said.* "And a most pleasant surprise that turned out to be. What brings you from Our Fair City to this den of iniquity?"

"Most pleasant indeed," *Dorian agreed.*
"Our gracious host has offered me a room here for my time in Paris," *Dorian said.*

*Rochester shrugged.*
"Oh please...it's not as if either of you are surprised."

*Alex quirked an eyebrow at Rochester.*
"Will you not allow us the conversational benefit of flattering you? Besides; in at least one point I believe you did surprise me."
"I wasn't surprised," *Kris piped up casually.*
*Alex turned back to Dorian.*
"But I was asking, M'sieur Gray, about London. We three seem all to be refugees, of some sort."
