Percy frowned. "Why you cannot remember I do not know. Mayhap you will gain your memory in time. But I daresay it was no fault of yours."

*Vianne frowned and chewed lightly on her thumbnail, a nervous habit she'd tried to rid herself of time and time again.* "I can't help thinking I missed something...that there was something I did...or didn't do..."

Percy looked calm.
"We will find out, Vianne, I promise." He glanced at her.
"You must obtain a divorce from Phillippe," he said quietly.

"No--best to make a clean break. And it was never valid to begin with. Phillipe no doubt wishes a quick end to this as well, so we can move on. Any lingering may give him false hope." *Vianne looked at Percy, her head tilted in thought.* "Where do you live, exactly? Must we go to England?"
((Legal annulment, too. It was never a valid marriage from the start, AND they never consummated it, so--it's only on paper. An easy fix, as it were.))

"Richmond-my estate- is in England, but I also possess an estate here in France. It is not far from the Opera."
"As for the Comte, I should like to speak with him...he is a decent man, and I would not like to leave without thanking him."

*Vianne nodded in agreement.* "I will pack my things and then wait in the foyer." *she said quietly.* "I think I am the last person Phillipe would wish to see at the moment. We have said all there is to say, at present."

Percy bowed slightly.
"I will meet you in the foyer then, my lady," he said softly.

*Vianne left the room and went to pack a small bag with the personal items she'd brought with her from the Opera.*
