Jesse giggled "No mam, that's what I was out here doing when I found this place, feels like home it does." He looked over at her "You haven't touched your beer, and after me going through all that trouble buyin' it."

He looked down at the bar "You know miss, you shouldn't trouble yourself with men, don't know what it is about us that are just predispositioned to hurt ya'll."

"I've hurt my share" he said sadly "I regret every one of them, but what I wouldn't give to see my wife again." He looked down at the bar and swirled his drink around "But I know that's not gonna happen, so I've learned to deal with it, hopefully miss, I'll find someone that'll make me forget about her."

*A smile crept onto her face, despite the fact that she had recently read that real life!Jesse was a pre-KKK racist terrorist*
"Am I wrong in guessing that's why you came into the bar to buy women drinks?"

((Yes he was, but this Jesse has given that all up in the afterlife! My Jesse is a smooth talkin' man, with morals and principals, but don't piss him off, he'll eat you.))
"Nope, just came in here to drown my sorrows, but the hell of the thing is, I can't barely seem to get a buzz." Jesse sighed "I only bought you a drink cause you looked like you needed one, and I'm a sucker for a damsel in distress."

((That's good. I'd hate to go from dating a nazi to flirting with a skinhead.))
"And I'm a sucker for bad men with hearts of gold", *she laughed.* "You do a good job of cheering a girl up."

"Well thank ya" he tipped his had and stretched back "So miss Mira, what do ya do for a livin'?

"Well, I used to sing at a place called the Kit Kat Klub. That's where my old boyfriend worked. I just quit, though. Guess I should be looking for a job."

"A night club eh?" He was no stranger to the ladies of the night, in fact that's where he was before he came there. "I'm jobless myself, but what does it matter? I have never had a real job in my life, I wouldn't know what to do, under those rules and regulations."

"Guess so" he snickered and pushed his hat off his head, ruffling his shaggy brown hair. "Hell if I had the money I start me a business, but I just gave up most of it to a prostitute" he wasn't sure if that would upset her, but he didn't like to lie. "I have about 750 francs to my name, just popped up in my pocket when I got here, I gave her about 250 of it" he laughed.
