It's a really good movie and I'm sad it didn't get wider distribution in cinemas.

I know the boss of the cinema here in my hometown. I'll have a talk with her about this movie. She always listens to my advice... :-)

Damn. I'll have to bittorrent Kate & Leopold or something for decent shots of Hugh. Legends is chock full of angsty!Ormond, though. Which is nice.

Anyone seen the Prestige or Van Helsing? How are they for good simple shots of Jackman?

...I'm starting to really like Aziraphale and Herbert as a couple. I know, Crowley/Aziraphale OTP, yada-yada-yada, but come on! Azirabert is so CUTE!

Bittorrents aren't working. I might have to suck it up and go scouting for Jackman DVDs.

I liked The Fountain a lot, mostly for the aesthetic qualities. It's the movie that convinced me that there is SOME good coming from computer animation. That's how it should be used, IMO: not to do things we can already do, but to create new aesthetics and visions. Does that make sense? I don't approve of doing with CG stuff we can still do better with more traditional animation. But I *do* like it when people use computers to create all new ways of seeing and making.
The Prestige has some good Jackman (I think) and besides that is a good film.
