Bwahahaha. Just watched Connie and Carla in the car on the way home (long drive, is all I'm sayin',) and I couldn't stop thinking that it'd make an awesome kind of crossover comedy fic where Meg and Christine take off after seeing Erik kill someone and have to go into hiding as men posing as women.

It's not a question of musical ability (or lack thereof), but I just can't see Miss Simpson as Roxie. It just doesn't work.

First of all, let me just say this...
BOTH the Simpsons girls can't sing worth cr*p. Support and intonation means nothing to them. All they do is sell the sex. It's completely ridiculous.

Speaking of which, I remember in the book, it said that before she was a star, Carlotta used to "dance in disreputable taverns". I've always wondered if that meant what I thought it did.

Ugh.  I recently found myself in a conversation about POTO with some casual aquaintences. One girl said "I hate Raoul, he stole Christine from Erik." Normally, this would prompt a lengthy book monolauge on my part, but because of recent sueniverse events, I burst out laughing instead. |
