Actually, work ended early. So -- went home. Showered. Went out again. Had tea with long-lost prodigal friend and lovely chat. Went home again. Went out again. Gorged on East Indian buffet and couldn't look the waitress in the eye because left slightly indecent amount of rice on plate at the end of the evening despite fanatical signs everywhere condemning waste of any kind. Well, I'm not.
When I mentioned the tea-outing with my friend (who happens to be male,) my sister was all "oooOOOOOooo" and I'm all *eyes rolling* and then she's all "You need to shower and blow-dry your hair! It looks so nice like that!" And I'm all "I'm not going to impress anyone."
In the end I conceded to a quick shower because post-work is rather ick. But I pretty much ran out of shampoo as it was and just tied my wet hair into a ponytail because it's easier that way. Nothing fancy.

It is hard to tell of happiness. Time goes by and we feel safe too soon.
