*Marc Warren Dracula tried to keep a serious expression.*
Sylvia Gallo.... so that's her name. Good. Now I can torture her even more... stalking and phoneterror....
*He chuckled.*
"It's a bit late to kill me, my friend. I am already dead. I can't die again. I accept your offer about spreading terror through the population. It will give you more clients, so this will pay off for you as well, Dr. Crane."

((Phones? We're in the 1800's.))
"We are not allies, sir. Nor are you naturally subserviant. I don't trust you, but I don't trust anyone."
*With that, he left the library.*

((Marc is a bit ahead of his time sometimes ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png) )) *Marc Warren Dracula smiled cruelly as he watched Dr. Crane leave. Then he turned himself into a bat, flew out through the open window, and disappeared into the night.*

*Roman walked into the library, his silver-tipped cane tapping on the floor. He cast a bit of a leer at one of the librarians, then took off his coat (which was worth more than her yearly salary.) He began to scan the shelves.*

((Mrowr.))
*Valerie raised an eyebrow at the look the man gave her, but shook it off and sighed, inwardly. What was it about her library that attracted all the dillholes to come looking for dirty books?*
"Can I help you find something, Monsieur?" *she asked tightly.* So I can get you out of my library faster...

Emmy glanced over the top of her book (How To Kill: The Definitive History of the Assassin) at the sound of voices nearer the center of the room. She'd been huddled in this corner for nearly three hours now, reading every book the library had that related to any kind of murder, which it turned out there were very few of. The man who'd just walked in looking like he might know something about murder, though. She tried to look like she was still reading while she listened in.

"Thank you, madamoiselle. I was wondering where your section on the occult might be?"
*Roman was aware that he was being watched, and didn't mind in the least.*

"You'll find stuff about the occult right over here," Emmy called over, pointing to a section a couple of shelves from her. She'd considered doing some research in that area next.

"Er, yes--it's all there."
*It was all useless, harmless shite, she knew. A few rhymes, herbs, and sparkly rocks. Giles kept all the true texts under lock and key in his office.*

"Thank you, ladies, but I've seen those."
*He leaned back and smiled*
"Do you carry any older books?"

"Perhaps you could still help me."
*He had not forgotten Emmy, and had in fact positioned himself directly between the two women.*
"I am what you might call a collector, particularly in this area. Would you know of a place or a person that might have what I'm looking for?"

*In the meantime, for her own amusement, Adrienne had slipped unnoticed to the occult section in question, and was perusing it with an amused smirk playing about her lips. Hocus-pocus, all of it.*

*Roman decided that the library was apparantly a haven for mysterious brunettes, and once again regretted his self-enforced celibacy.*

*She kept one hand on her wand, concealed in a pocket of her cloak. She actually snorted at some of the claims of one of the books.*
"Imagine, dragon blood being useless." *She muttered to herself under her breath, too quietly for someone not straining to hear her to hear.*
