"For me?"
*He raised his brow*
"I'm flattered. Or I would be if I hadn't heard that most of your followers end up dead or eating insects."

*Marc smirked.*
"Ah, my reputation travels before me. But anyway, that is why I chose to seek you. I have powerful enemies I want to wipe away from the surface of the earth. And I need something to boost my strength. In return I can offer you good money since I am a wealthy man, and also the pleasure of spreading terror in Paris."

*Crane's face remained impassive*
"What are your plans?"

*Marc's face darkened.*
"I have seen the boost of Draculas on the 'verse, and I want to put an end to them. There can only be one Dracula. And I would like that to be me."

*Crane had no idea what 'the verse' was, but there was no way he was going to admit to that. Probably some Transylvanian phrase.*
"I have no loyalty to any of the others with your name, but you didn't answer my question before. We're both what might be called villians- how can I trust you?"

*Marc smirked.*
"Well, if you couldn't trust me...." *He replied in mock innocence,* "You would be dead by now."

"Not necessarily. I'll grant that you may need me for something, and that one you're finished..."
*He smiled*
"But if that's the case, I think you'll find me a bit more than you bargained for. Tell me about these others."

*Marc thought for a while.*
"Well, we have my cousin Dracula, of course. He lives in a castle here in Paris. His wife, Elisabeta, is really beautiful. Then we have a suspicious man at my hotel. His name is Vlad Draculea. That is a man I really want to erase from this planet. He has an aura of danger around him. And the third one is named Draculya. I have to study him closer before I can give you an opinion of him."
*He stopped talking and studied Crane with his red-glowing eyes.*
"Do you think you can help me giving my strength a boost?"

"Possibly. I've never tested any of my medicines on the undead. Purely out of curiosity, is this the only reason you've come here?"

*Marc grinned broadly.*
"Ehmmm. In fact... no. I hear talk of a revolution that will take place in Paris. You wouldn't happen to know anything about it, do you?"

"I keep out of politics. Times change, but only fear remains."

*Marc smiled wickedly.*
"But think of all the fear we could spread if we blended in with the revolutionaries... Maybe turned them around..... Don't you get any ideas from this, Doctor Crane?"

*Crane considered this. He still didn't entirely trust the man, but he wasn't going to walk away from something like this.*
"One thing at a time. Your rivals- I suppose they too have things they fear."

*Marc nodded.*
"I suppose they have. But they are hiding their fear very well. I do not know what they fear the most."

"And I don't know if the drugs will have the same result on vampires. If you had an underling or enemy I could test them on, or could create one..."
