*It began to snow, the flakes drifting down lazily onto their heads. Scarlett took Penn's hand, gently leading him away from that horrible hole in the ground.* C'mon, Penn, let's get out of the snow.
It hadn't been too hard to find, for all that it seemed almost purposely tucked away in the rougher section of Paris. Normally Shilo would not be going through this part of town at night, but with the Graverobber along she felt safe enough to come here.
Pausing only to make sure nobody was watching, she quickly ducked through the bent bars of the cemetary gates--gates that had been closed and then locked with a chain and padlock, though that precaution was now useless thanks to someone crashing a Ford Model T into it. The forlorn car still sat stuck to the gate, slowly collecting dust and rot. Luckily it didn't block the gap in the gate that it's demise had opened.
"This way," Shilo said, waving. "The newer stuff is near the back."

*The Graverobber had to squeeze a bit more to get through, but managed just fine. His gaze followed intently where she led him, terribly amused by the whole scenario. Thinking back to what she had just mentioned, he added quietly (in case they weren't alone in the cemetery).*
"And what would you have, if you could choose your own?" *He quirked his head, truly curious at what she might be thinking. A girl like her should want to sell something pretty and quaint, though after tonight's activities, he was ready to be surprised.*
"A business in a thing of pride, devotion...yours alone."

Shilo had thought about what she'd like to do once she was cured, and could leave the house. With all the free time that she'd had, even with homeschool, she'd been able to give it a lot of thought.
"I think, I'd have pharmaceutical company. Making medicine and drugs for people. But I wouldn't be like GeneCo or anything."
She paused, thinking.
"Well, I bet you could do some stuff with Zydrate...mess with the engineering so it's more than just a anesthetic, things like that. So it'd also be testing new drugs."

*The Graverobber could help but chuckle. The girl was still idealistic, even in this dismal world. Ah, alas she was still young. She didn't understand the way the world worked. But there was still time to learn; he didn't have to send her dreams smashing to the ground.*
"That would depend, my dear, on what needs are set."
*He glanced around, scoping out any potential corpses.*
"Like so many things, it depends on the profit."

Like him, Shilo was scanning the ground, looking for any of the telltale signs that someone had recently buried a body here. There was evidence of someone having been here and dug open a grave--which now stood empty--and she stepped past it.
"Well, yeah. I'm still working out the details, yanno? But I have the general idea in my head."
And of course on the side, she could still do the bug collecting. Maybe go to school to learn a bit more about entomology.

((She's so cute!))
*The Graverobber gave a noncommittal nod. At least she was still working out stuff. He reminded himself how young she was and that it was actually impressive she'd given it any consideration at all. But the thought vanished as his eyes fell to the very thing they'd been looking for, a slight swell in freshly-tilled earth. His hand dived instinctively into one of the lower pockets of his jacket, retracting bearing a spade that looked well-worn.
He grinned back at her, a hint of boyish mischief in his expression as he plopped down on the ground and began to dig. It was a hell of a lot more work than procuring bodies from stone tombs, but if he could get the product fresh, it was worth it.*

Shilo hadn't thought to bring a shovel, and now felt a bit bad that he had to do the digging himself. Only a bit, though--he wasn't called Graverobber for no reason.

"Good eye, my pet." *The Graverobber purred, not turning away from his work.*
"The fresher, the better; now let's see what we can get." *He set hard to task and made surprisingly quick work of exposing the corpse. Just goes to show it's not the size of the tool, but how you wield it. He was panting lightly with exertion and wiped at his brow, leaning back that she might join him or at least get a closer look.*

Shilo moved closer, careful not to fall in with the corpse. While she was getting used to the sight of dead bodies, she didn't exactly want to cuddle up with one.
"Yeah, that's recent. He hasn't even turned gray yet."
She leaned forward a bit, squinting in the faint amount of light, and the pulled something shiny out of the dirt.
"He was wearing a ring." She said, holding it up. The moonlight caught on the simple gold band, causing it to shine.

*The Graverobber had already pulled out his syringe, ready to procure his product, but her comment caused his gaze to fall to the man's hand. Shifting the syringe, he tugged at the ring roughly, but the first stages of decomposition had bloated the body. His eyes narrowed.*
"It would seem this fellow is full of profit."
*He set the syringe on the man's chest, hand drifting back to his coat. The switchblade glinted suddenly and with a smooth and practiced stroke, the finger was removed cleanly at the joint. The Graverobber paused, as if mulling something in his brain. His arm lifted sharply up to her, offering her the loot, finger included.*
"Figure this way, we both can be rewarded with what we get."

For a split second, she thought she was going to puke when he held the severed finger up. But not wanting to look like a wimp--or disappoint him--she took the offered item and quickly pulled the ring off the finger and dropped the severed digit.
It wasn't a wedding ring like she'd first thought, just a simple band with some odd-looking but interesting symbols carved into it. Knowing this city, who could say just what any of it meant?
"Awesome." She quickly pocketed it. It wouldn't fit her as is, but maybe she could have it sized down.

*His brow arched slightly as she took the finger. The ballsiness of the gesture was not beyond him. It was one thing to see a dead body, to be overcome by the smell of it...but to touch it was something else entirely. A smile quirked the corner of the Graverobber's mouth as his eyes locked on hers for a brief moment before turning back to his previous work.*
"It's quick, it's clean, it's pure..." *He whispered softly to himself as the syringe found its mark and the blue glow suffused the vial. His smile widened as drew back and returned his gaze to her invitingly.*
"So do you want to ride, to enjoy the allure?" *His brow arched in question.*

Her eyes fell on the glow. It'd been a while since the last time, so it wasn't like she was addicted to it or anything...and it had made her feel great...

*The Graverobber sprang out of the hole with catlike grace, loading the vial into the gun with fluid precision. His body pressed shamelessly against hers, pushing her back against an old obelisk. His gaze wandered down over her hungrily, drinking her in even as he sought flesh.*
"The same and yet even better." *He purred hotly. The cool tip of the gun urged up beneath the hemline of her skirt.*
"Like a tall glass of water. Or perhaps something...wetter." *His brow arched in suggestion.*

Sarah: Okay. I've finally gotten straightened out all the stuff that's been keeping me away so much, so I'll be on a lot more now. Believe me, this place has been on my mind pretty much every day.
